Re: Family Tree/Genealogy Chart programmes?

For me, the best is iFamilyForTiger (which works perfectly with Leopard!)
Only $29.95 and very very good because the focus is on the individual: perfect for characters.
I love it.
you will find it here:

What I dream of would be an interface where I can drag a ruler representing the lifespan of an character to the right or to the left in order to make him/her older or younger. AndreasE Did you see my little app I did for you yesterday? Here: http://www.jeanlouisvalero.fr/TimeLineCalc.osx.zip

Andreas wishes?

Let's say I have my character John Doe, born 1959. I want to see he's 27 in 1986 when Challenger explodes. And I want to see that his son Jim Doe, born in 1982, is 4 years old then.... And so on... Hello Andreas I spent two hours on this... may be your idea would be a great addition to OmniGraffle ...

For me, every time I threw out preferences (after updating) , Scrivener went like the clappers. Of course you must enter again your serial etc.Image

Good news!

Keith
I tried everything (checking and un-checking widows and son or daughter...) and all my projects were hanging on 1.11 beta 2 when I called statistics.

I decided to throw out preferences (which were there from 1.095) and now? and now?
no more problem!!!
:P

Why incriminate the little orphan and his poor mother?

I tried V1.11beta 1 and 2 and with both of them the terrible issue remains, Scrivener hangs when asking for statistics...

That price ($499) was surely established with the help of a "Conflict resolution" beta version.
What a demonstration of the V1 qualities...

Good news?

As I'm the "author" of this thread, I've received a mail from Flying Logic father (Robert McNally). Like you I found the price... irrational. He wrote: [...] As you know, the Pro edition allows the creation of custom domains. These domains can be saved and then imported into and used by an...

You must uncheck "Hide main window" into preferences/Full screen
(I've just tested on my own laptop and external screen)
