you can delete:

/users/you/Library/Preferences/com.literatureandlatte.scrivener.plist

For me, every time I threw out preferences (after updating) , Scrivener went like the clappers. Of course you must enter again your serial etc.

I tried everything (checking and un-checking widows and son or daughter...) and all my projects were hanging on 1.11 beta 2 when I called statistics.

I decided to throw out preferences (which were there from 1.095) and now? and now?
no more problem!!!

did you try the excellent TextSoap? when I have such a problem (in french it's all the time!) it is perfect. You will find it here: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/4458 Go to File/new/custom cleaners and in "options" popup select "create new" In "properties...
