I updated to the latest .NET so it got rid of the lengthy error message. That can be found on the microsoft.com website. I still get the error message about the license deactivation which is the Paddle issue. Since others have asked about the Windows version we're on, I'm posting here to say I'm on ...
Just want to say that I have been using the new Windows Beta parallel to the old Scrivener for Windows with some documents for quite a while. There is a difference between the two. This is a major overhaul and I'm glad that us Windows users will be able to use so many new features to keep us organiz...
I wonder if this is the Paddle issue that has been described on other threads in this forum. I get another error message from time to time too. If this is the case, the staff at Lit 'n Lat is aware of it and is working with Paddle to correct it.
If the page numbering is ever overhauled, I just want add that it would be nice to have more customization features like being able to restart the numbering from 1 with each text doc or folder within a project.
Thanks for an excellent product! Beta for Windows looks fabulous. Tricia
I use Dropbox and have right from the start when I first purchased Scrivener. I use it on Windows and on my iPad. Should I ever get a MAC, I'd be able to use it on there too. When working with multiple devices always remember to sync before your start and sync before you close your session. This ens...
Hi Development Team, The new additions to the custom metadata are fabulous and will help considerably with my fiction writing. However, at the moment Scrivener will not let me include the custom metadata in the compile for each of my scenes (docs). Is this still being developed? This is a great feat...
Next question, Can I save some money by buying the slightly older iPad 3? or should I stick to the 4 so I can stay up to date. What is the difference between them? I know I can check out reviews but I'd rather ask my peers here, who has used scrivener as much as I have. I use an old iPad 2 with no ...
I use an iPad 2 with the latest iOS version. It is a bit slower. I still use it for writing. I have Scrivener on it and the free Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote) that is available on the iOS store. Dropbox is installed. I store all my files on Dropbox. Have not lost anything ye...
Also note that unless you are making massive changes to many documents in the project in a single session, after the initial sync (which you wisely did wired), the future syncing should involve a lot fewer files and less bandwidth. On an iPad that has wifi capabilities only, it will never be wired;...
Just want to add this for anyone who may have an issue like I had in the coffee shop earlier. I too got that "Error 460" message. An internet connection (wifi) that works perfectly when you logged into iPad can go 'stale' when you try to sync again later on. Even if you can browse all over...
You took an awesome product and made it even more awesome! You've also provided very helpful feedback. I let two writing groups know of the launch. Everyone is thrilled! I will leave a 5 star review in the app store.
Yeah I know this makes things terribly complex but let's put it this way: if a shirt in India is roughly worth 100 rupees why would anyone in their right mind pay anything worth some hundred times that price for an app? It doesn't have to be complex Yosimiti. You can buy the 2nd hand ipads for thos...
