I'd like to chime in on this, because I think it's a feature that would be simple and highly useful. I want to use Scapple to design my novel around a graphical representation of structure, using a background image as a guide map to filling in the right key scenes at the right places. This seems lik...
Most likely you have switched to the SciFi GUI language translation, without realizing it. Okay...I guess that makes sense...this happened after an attempt to run the "technology update" clocked for a couple of hours when we were having slow internet service, so I can well imaging that ha...
I "upgraded" to Version: 2.9.9.7 Beta (955095) 64-bit - 13 Jun 2020 and now all the menu labels have been replaced with silly scifi stand ins. Is this someone's idea of a joke? The top menu is "Command, Maneuvers, Slice, Bridge, Mavigation, Mission, Data Files, Helm, Console. Instead ...
After compiling to PDF in Version: 2.9.9.6 Beta (937253) 64-bit - 26 May 2020, the end of text marker is not correctly centered. It's not a big deal, but is easy to see when testing compile formatting with a mostly empty manuscript (see attachment). The scene separators are centered. The "***&q...
Thanks, this has been filed. It looks like it's just an issue with empty group documents--in my tests, typing after switching to the single text mode, for instance, makes the icon suddenly appear in the footer. It should display there from the beginning in the single document view (and likewise it ...
In Version: 2.9.9.6 Beta (937253) 64-bit - 26 May 2020, Target icon redraw bug in Scrivenings mode. Any time a folder is selected in the binder, the target icon is removed from the lower right corner of the editor (which it should not be, because in Scrivener, folders can contain content and have th...
Currently, Scrivener supports targets by word count or character count. And extremely handy option would be percentage targets. I'd like to be able to set percentage targets for folders throughout my template to act as guides in drafting a new project. Then, when I start a new project, I just choose...
As noted, the column you want is "Total Progress," which should exist in Win Scrivener 3. Fair enough, and so it does--the "Total Progress" bar does exactly what I want in V3, with one minor caveat--which I could not find any reference to in the beta forum, and didn't want to en...
Suppose I'm editing an anthology. The subdocuments in the folder are contributed stories. The folder text is my introduction to each thematic section. I don't care how long the individual stories are, but I do care how long my introduction is. Katherine Folders are a way to organize a hierarchical ...
Is there any update in this issue for Windows users? My install reports it's "up to date" and running "Version: 1.9.16.0 - 14 Nov 2019" I do NOT have a "Total Progress" column in the outliner, and the progress bar colume is useless. Like other posters above, I'm working...

My donation was that I went and bought the Windows version, even though I wasn't using it. Later, I broke down and bought a Windows machine, so now I sync files and it works great. Thanks so much for remembering us.
Anyone have any suggestion as to why spell checking might not work under Fedora? On my other machine (running xubuntu), it works fine, and aspell is installed and spellchecking works in LibraOffice.
I've noticed the same. The text that was in Liberation Serif, sometimes (I hevent been able to see a pattern) comes out as courier. Usually rediong the operation fixes it. 1.7.2.3. beta (32 bit) on Ubuntu linux (and unity) 12.04, my little cute Acer Aspirer One netbook. Hey kataja, I bought three b...
