Re: undo / cmd-Z in scratchpad not working

one last try to bring this to the attention of an admin or developer ... strange, the responses here were always extremely quick! Maybe my fault somehow?

Re: undo / cmd-Z in scratchpad not working

no reactions yet ... dear developers, did I chose the right way to address this topic? Should I better write a support request by mail?

undo / cmd-Z in scratchpad not working

There ist no cmd-Z in the scratchpad, what makes is less useable for drafting chunks of text that should not get lost (hitting on the wrong key after "highlight all" cost me quite a bit of work recently). There was a thread on this, but it seems that the problem didn't get resolved: https:...

Re: Just confirming: No 'undo' in Scratchpad?

I see that there is already a thread for this here, so I just add my comment: I still have the same problem (no undo in scratchpad) here with Scrivener 2.8.1.2 on OSX 10.12.2. I did cost my a litte bit of text lately, so just want to ask: Is this fixed somehow and just doesn't work on my machine? Th...

Re: Please Rethink Link Default

Ohhh yes, I would love to have solid lines for connections, too! (as an option in preferences).
Second Shenandoah's arguments!

Re: bulk drag within collections reverses doc order?

just a faint question from the off: I am still struggling with the "reversed order" problem regularly. will there be a beta before 2.2.1 will be out? as soon as it's there, I'll download it ...
no hurry. it's the end of the year. best wishes, besides!

Re: folder's subdocuments - shown or not?

 OMG ... it works. It seems I managed somehow to toggle ""view the group's subdocuments" without noticing it. And have been looking for exactly this option in the preferences all the time. Working for 2 (3?) years with scrivener every day and didn't notice this button. Sorry for...

folder's subdocuments - shown or not?

When I click a folder that holds several subdocuments in the binder, I encounter two different behaviours: sometimes all of the contained subdocuments are assembled into one composite document in the editor, sometimes only the content of the folder-file itself is shown (that is, in my case, an empty...

Re: bulk drag within collections reverses doc order?

Ok I see the point. If it's feasible - would be great.

collections scroll away

I'd like to add an observation concerning working in collections. Unlike the binder, collections do not "hold" their scrolling state when switching away from them. In my project, I have three collections, each with much more documents then the collection window can hold. I am switching con...

Re: bulk drag within collections reverses doc order?

Oh, sorry ...
Should have bothered you with this some days later at least.
Congrats for releasing the new full version!
I'll stay tuned in for the betas.

Re: bulk drag within collections reverses doc order?

PS as far as I can see, this happens only when the block of documents is dragged downward. Dragging upward does not change the doc order. The problem does not occur in the binder.

bulk drag within collections reverses doc order?

When I highlight several adjacent documents in a collection, an drag them to a new place in the same collection, their order gets inverted. Is this intended? I did not find any possibility to tweak with this in the prefs, nor any thread in the forums on this behaviour. For me, having to reorder the ...

Re: jump to document by shortcut?

ok, I see ... but what I found in the meantime is the favourite panel ! I didn't see that before. it makes the procedure a lot easier - one double click is enough to come back to the desired doc. What I did before was view / goto / favourite, and that was way too cumbersome. But with the panel it's ...

Re: jump to document by shortcut?

That's what I tried first, but it doesn't really help, as there are always some clicks to do. What I would need is a shortcut by keystroke. Maybe there is a possibility with apple script or something like this? But I have no idea how it could work.
