Re: Scrivener Won't Open

Hi Keith, I had the same problem. I downloaded the test build you posted and all my files finally opened. I replaced my original application file with this test build and so far so good. But I'm wondering what I should do from here. Are you planning to update Scrivener with this test build? What sho...

Re: Multilanguage Spellchecker Support

Thanks mbbntu. I'm glad it's resolved that it's not Scrivener that's the issue. Will figure the rest out in due course.

Re: Multilanguage Spellchecker Support

Yeah, I tried that. But it doesn't seem to work on my machine. Keeps showing errors in the alternate language, ever when I choose 'automatic'

Multilanguage Spellchecker Support

Hi, Tried looking for this on the forums but couldn't find it. if there's a similar thread, feel free to point me there. Recently, I've been writing stories that are in-between languages. That is to say, they are two or more languages going in the same story. Problem is that when you spellcheck/gram...

Re: Can't seem to convert to Docx File

I was thinking...is there a way to reinstall FileConverter 1_6? I tried googling it to no success. Is there anyway you guys could perhaps get in touch with the folks at Java? Just a thought. I might do it myself but alas, I'm busy. Also, I vaguely remember (it's been a long while since I posted to t...

Re: Can't seem to convert to Docx File

It's happening with all my files. I can't convert ANYTHING directly to docx file formats. Do you still want me to send you the file? If you do, what email do I send it you?

Re: Can't seem to convert to Docx File

Actually, nevermind. Saving it as RTF worked! Not sure why it wasn't working before. But maybe reinstalling the app did the trick. Still, I think this is a bug. The inability to convert to Word is important for folks like me. Please look over the log file I sent in my first post. Once you have, out ...

Re: Can't seem to convert to Docx File

Sorry about the duplicate. Didn't know where to post exactly. I'm using the latest Scrivener edition. 3.03 (3032) Both compile ande export don't seem to work. It's strange because I've never had problems before. The problem with RTF files is that they don't seem to incorporate Chicago-style footnoti...

Can't seem to convert to Docx File

I've been unable to convert my scrivener files to Microsoft Word docx files. It seems to go to a FileConverter1_6 error and it appears there's something off with Java. I've reinstalled the latest Java modules, so I'm not exactly what to do. I have attached a PDF file of the Problem Report. Hope to h...

Re: Scheduled Dark/Light Mode

Personally I'd just like to have dark mode ALL THE TIME, on account that I'm something of a vampire and don't like light!

But I could see the value in this for others. Bump!

Canadian App Store

I can't seem to find Scrivener in the Canadian macOS App Store? Is it there? I bought my previous copy from the App Store so that is how I imagine I should get the new version. Hope to hear from someone soon

Re: Flashing Cursor

Hey, this is a shout out, as nobody responded to my comment (likely I'm figuring because no one cared); but flashing cursors are annoying as hell, and it would be nice to have a feature that disabled the feature!

Flashing Cursor

I don't know if this feature is already available and it is a case of my not having found it, but it would nice if Scrivener iOS had the option to stop the cursor from blinking. The little feature is available on the MacOS port, and while it's a little thing, it helps the writing process. Again, thi...
