Re: New Folders and Documents

From within Corkboard view, pages are created within the proper structure as expected.

New Folders and Documents

Version: 2.9.0.13 Beta (467076) 64-bit
It seems as though all new folders and documents are appearing at the bottom of the list in the Binder, instead of below or inside of the currently selected item.

[NB] (2.9.0.3 Beta (90712) 64-Bit) : Styles not applying fully

I've created a style called 'Caption' which is centered, italic, Lato 11 pt. The Caption style is reflecting this in the dropdown, But, when applying this style to the text all but Italic is applied.
I've redefined the format of the style several times to no avail.

Re: iOS 11 and DropBox Syncing Issues

@lunk Yes, I read the tutorial set up accordingly when iOS was released. This setting was showing that DropBox was pointing to Apps/Scrivener, as has been set since originally configured. I re-pointed it to the folder using the Other option and it has re-established the connection and started syncin...

iOS 11 and DropBox Syncing Issues

I began this conversation in “iOS 11 support of ‘files app’” and decided to move it into a thread of its own as the issue seems to be a bit different from the subject spoken of there. I use Scrivener in a business setting for all of my writing, note taking, etc. and have been for some time now witho...

Re: ios 11 support of "files app"

Have you installed the Dropbox software on your iOS device? It's completely separate from the Files app. Katherine Hi Katherine, yes...DropBox is installed. Installing DropBox by itself doesn’t cause Scrivener to sync with it. We have to point Scrivener to DropBox, right? The only setting that I ca...

Re: ios 11 support of "files app"

@KB

Why isn’t DropBox available as an option to Store Files in iOS 11? This thread says that DropBox is still the method for syncing, but without the option to save files there, how do I get it to sync? It seems as though since iOS 11 that’s not an option any longer.

Re: Anthology - multiple front matters and levels

::cdmonline::
It looks like you have the Front Matter folder inside of your anthology. Suggest that you move the Front Matter above "Ever in the After", the folder, in the Binder. At that point, things should start working for you.

Moving a Document within a Folder

Like many, I format my writing structure in a tree. Within each branch of that tree are multiple documents. These documents make up the sections of the overall publication that we are writing. In the iOS version, it's not possible to rearrange the sub-documents that are part of the branch. That func...

Compile Replace vs Custom Meta-Data

Working on a technical document that makes strong use of particular "fields" throughout the entirety of the document. Initially, I'd setup custom meta-data to hold this information. At compile time I expected that all of the codes would be replace with the values held in the meta-data. Unf...

Re: inheritable custom metadata

Expanding on this thought, it would be equally amazing if custom meta-data could be populated into a document! Entering placeholders into the document, <$Customer_Name>, would allow the document to be populated at compile time by pulling the associated key value from the meta-data list. I'm aware th...

Re: How to start a business policy manual?

Hi pigfender,

I'd be interested in the template and compile format that you've put together, if you're still willing to share. I am on a Mac, so it should be compatible.

Thanks in advance,
