Weird, annoying justification problem - SOLVED! HERE'S HOW.

So I'm editing a book and I need a new scene so yeah....I create a new text but the alignment is all wrong compared to all of the other scenes/text pages. The margins are all up the spout and if I use tab it puts the cursor waaaay over towards the centre of the page. It's REALLY annoying. I've had t...

Re: unable to verify your activation for more then two months

I updated to the newest version about a week ago and the same thing has just happened to me while I was offline. What in the name of sanity is going on with Scrivener? It's been great for years, now all of a sudden it seems to be turning into something ........ well ............not so pleasurable to...

Update Demanding Money - almost like ransomware

I recently accepted an update to Version 9.1.12 on my laptop. The second time I tried to use it, having a quiet hour or two on night shift, it demanded money or a license key, claiming that the TRIAL PERIOD WAS OVER. It wasn't a trial version. It was already paid for. I spent an hour finding the lic...

Alphabetical order for folders

Is there a way of sorting folders by alphabetical order of their titles?

I have a lot of research folders for world building details, I'm adding to it all the time and such a facility would be REALLY handy.

If there is no such facility yet, perhaps it could be considered for future versions.

Highlighter Colour

Firstly, THANK YOU to the Scrivener team for absolutely gorgeous software.

Would it be possible to include something whereby we can choose the colour of the highlighter and IT STAYS THAT COLOUR as a default until we decide to change it? Even after we've closed and reopened?

Mucus Green highlighter alternatives

Being able to pick a default colour for the highlighter and NOT HAVE IT REVERT to that hideous mucus-green nostril-crust colour when you close and reopen the project would be seriously nice.

setting default highlight colour

When I change the highlighter colour in FORMAT - HIGHLIGHT it always changes back to the greenish yellow after I close and reopen the project.

Is that a bug and is there a plan to fix it?

Highlighter shortcut problem

I'm trying to suss out the highlighter shortcut thing. When I'm writing, sometimes I hit a wrong key or two and the highlighter windows appears. I can never seem to replicate what I've hit but here's a thing. It's NOT a case of Control+Shift+H highlighting what I've selected. It's the entire highlig...

Re: NOT SAVED - WTF? IT'S SICKENING.

First, did you use "Save As" to create a backup? Is it possible that the work you did is in that copy? Or maybe you went back to the original to do your work, but Scrivener opened the wrong version when you started it up? Search your hard drive for folders ending in ".scriv" and...

LOST WORK RANT

So I write a scene. I'm happy. I save. I close the project. Later, I want to write some more. I open the project and my fucking work is gone. JUST LIKE THAT. Gone. It's as if Scrivener just decided it didn't feel like saving my last writing session. It's such a brilliant program to use and then ALL ...
