Re: French press (and Sainsbury's gluten-free English muffins)

As to the muffins, myself I like McDonalds Egg McMuffins. Somethign about that gutter fast food reheated frozen breakfast treat that will clot your arteries and make you bleed gravy is very alluring. French press (and Sainsbury's gluten-free English muffins)

I haven't been around much (I've read posts but not commented) due to health-issues, but I did have to let everyone know about this wonderful discovery I made. My parents drink coffee (I don't. I know, I know, bad me!). I don't have a coffee-machine and they managed with tea and other drinks until I...

Re: Get Writeroom for free

I got it too, I like that it had writeroom. Not sure if I have a use for the other apps but I'll give them a shot. I got Vector Designer in an earlier deal and at the time didn't like it much. But now I use it for all my vectoring, 'cause it works :) It has a few bells and whistles but not too many ...

This is a good idea, right?

Yes, a very good idea. Is that textmate I spy in your avatar?

And?

How many of us have started with their Nanowrimo-novel? How far did you get so far? I've got a very satisfying 5654 words now, and also spend time working out my timeline (with Aeon) which helped a lot. It also helps that I made the outline before I started writing and that I decided to fall back on...

you *have* to.' But, `for why? `, do you have to? Are you fighting, ` inner demons `, or p`rhaps you`re a prisoner of, tyranical and powerful literary/creative instincts? I`m curious as to, why? . Take care Tanja :) Vic Because if I don't, it feels like stabbing a huge knife in my heart and twistin...

No, you write because you *have* to.

A couple of days ago I talked to boyfriend about my Nanowrimo plot and how the outlining went, and I said something like 'Oh, only two more weeks until I have to start!' I immediately corrected myself and said 'I mean, until I want to start, of course.' Boyfriend turned, looked at me for a few secon...

Re: different color pins in the corkboard for different voices?

Hi - I don't know if this can be done, but I'd really like, in the corkboard view, to assign a different color pin to each narrator/pov character in my novel. That way, I could get an at-a glance view of how much of the story is from each pov. I wasn't expecting to have more than one pov throughout...

Re: English - why I hate Americans

My children ask me what I mean by this word or that word all the time, and I tell them. I don't use words that I know that they will understand, as I think their vocabulary will be all the richer for it in the long run. Although it's always slightly offputting to have done a stern telling off, at t...

Re: Anyone Planning for NaNo 2009?

Have you been checked for adrenal problems? There's a saliva test that checks all the various things your adrenal gland makes. I had a point when I was testing normal on bloodwork, because altogether my levels were average, but when you checked them individually my SigA was gone. That alone put me ...

Re: Anyone Planning for NaNo 2009?

Dear Tanja, Whenever someone asks me what it`s like to have M.E., I always answer with, "You feel, 'wasted', physically, mentally, and emotionally. With M.E., it`s as if: whatever it is, inside a human being, that responds to outside stimuli, and generates passion, enthusiasm, curiosity, inter...

They are really supportive and inspirational, and they'll understand the difficulties you face. Why don't you at least check it out? Scylax, My handicap (apart from a poor education/lack of writing technical skills), is M.E. Myalgic Encephalopathy. I have a mild form of the disease. I`m very lucky ...
