Re: WINE 5.0 and Scrivener 2.9.0.x

Just confirming that I could install and run the Beta Release Candidate 6 (2.9.9.6) on Xubuntu 20.04. I used out of the box wine and the winetricks speechsdk trick. Thanks!

How much money would you require to release a new Linux version?

Hi LAP, I was wondering if L&L would be willing to release a new Linux version in exchange for a given amount of money. My assumption here is that you discontinued the Linux beta because it wasn't worth your time (which is only sensible). So, here is my proposal: how about you name a price? If i...

Re: Spellchecker - making it work

Wonderful! I can't tell you how many times I tried to get this to work!!! Thanks! By the way, I had to make a tiny modification to your instructions because I am using a different language (Spanish). Re: Linux 1.9.01 Beta Released

Another Linux user who bought a Windows license here! I do use the Windows version though, to take advantage of all of the latest features (I write my books on Linux and finish them on Linux using a VM).

Thanks you SOOOOOOO much and it is indeed sad news, but understandable ones.

Re: Some accentued caracters are not allowed in comments ...

I have the same issue. It doesn't crash for me when I delete them, but I can't use the á, é, í, ó, ú (Spanish writer here).

Copy and paste issue

Hi there, First of all, thanks a lot for making this software available on Linux! I have recently installed the 1.7.2.3 Linux beta released 22nd July 2014 on Ubuntu 14.04. I observed that when I copy/cut and paste any text, the pasted text has a different font than the original text. Has anyone else...
