[LH4313] Word selection in script mode

In script mode, when you try to select words, the highlighted selection looks like this: https://content.screencast.com/users/RicardoLeal/folders/Jing/media/bb11482c-65cc-4062-b9c6-90dc7e19842c/2020-04-06_1938.png The highlight appears a bit bellow the line. This happens when importing from fountain...

Re: [LH543] Screenplay formatting still broken??

Sorry I'm going off-track and just genuinely being curious here, I assume you (&a couple of others on this topic) write screenplays in some professional capacities, surely you're currently using other screenwriting softwares. Any particular reason why you want to move to Scrivener? Same reason ...

Re: [LH543] Screenplay formatting still broken??

Hey guys,

There's actually a preceding report of this same bug LH543 plus another related bug LH846 from November 2017.

viewtopic.php?f=57&t=41014

I have the same problem as Simeva. It has not been solved yet.

How to get rid of gray bars in Scrivener 3 text editor

Image

I prefer the same environment as Scrivener 1. Does anyone know how to take out these gray bars so I can write in all the space available in the screen?

Re: [LH543/LH846] Scriptwriting Mode

Just wanted to get some news on screenwriting.

It's been almost 2 years, we're one week from the target release date and all the problems with screenwriting all seem to be there.

Same here. Just tried Beta 14 to see if I could start writing scripts with Scrivener but no dice.

Re: [Suggestion] Dark Mode

A Dark Mode would be great.

By the way, do you know about f.lux? It's amazing to avoid eye strain et al.

Re: [JH] Scriptwriting Mode

I disagree. For me (and I think the majority of working screenwriters), page breaks and accurate page counts are absolutely necessary. And that is exactly why I wrote: Some will disagree about the last one - the ideal writing environment is obviously not the same for everyone. If you want page brea...

Re: [JH] Scriptwriting Mode

First off, every time I try to change the Script Settings, Scrivener crashes so it's been a bit hard to test. I think the extra "margin" you mentioned doesn't factor into this since it's not a compiling / printing problem but a view problem in the editor. I tried to change the Script Setti...

Re: Scriptwriting Mode

We're talking about the buggy way the text is wrapping on the right edge, yes? I was actually also talking Indent, Line length and Spacing, but I've been playing in the settings and I think I can change that. I assume the stable version will come with the standard screenplay measures as default, ri...

Re: Scriptwriting Mode

I don't think it's an import Fountain problem because it also happens when writing a screenplay from scratch. The "fixed width editor" is on, the box is checked. I was not using "Page View". That's how my normal view looks like. Wasn't it supposed to look like that? Here goes the...
