Re: Is there a keyboard shortcut to move to the first/last item in a group in the binder?

Sorry, I didn't explain myself well enough. I should have said "within nested groups" in the binder. As in like this:

I don't think there's a way of jumping to the top or bottom of a nested group rather than the top or bottom of the entire binder, is there?

Group names in multiple selection corkboard columns/rows?

I've recently started to use multiple selection corkboard views a lot. I'd like to request an option that the names of the constituent groups in the view are displayed in situ, where the arrows are in this pic (obviously there'd need to be some space made): groupnames.png I know of (and use) the nav...

Is there a keyboard shortcut to move to the first/last item in a group in the binder?

I don't think there is, but I just wanted to check. I've got a workaround which is to use ⌃⌥↑ and ⌃⌥↓ to go up/down to the group and then or depending on what I want to end up on, but was wondering if there is a one-step for this. No big deal if there isn't.

Yup -- that's a fallback option -- was more wondering if there was a way to do it with some sort of opt/cmd/ctr/shift combo that would be a transitory override rather than a turn-on-then-turn-off manoeuvre.

Might suggest it for the wish list.

[Using v3]. Or splits if you're working with them. In my current project, I quite often want to open a doc as a Quick Reference, but I don't want it to load it into the split when I right click in the binder. Effectively, I'm looking for a way to temporarily set it to Binder Selection Affects > None...

Re: Ignoring the time zone change in custom metadata = reverting to today's date

@Endlessloop for including your timezone information, because that allowed me to do a little more digging. I look forward to a fix! No probs -- it took a while to notice it, but it became obvious it was something to do with the problem. Silverdragon's workaround is great while we're waiting for the...

Make CSV data two-way with Outliner?

I really like that you can export the Outliner contents as a CSV file. What I'd really like is a way to import a CSV to the Outliner and have it populate its fields. I understand that this might be complex due to exception handling for missing or badly formed titles and/or cell entries, but I think ...

I was getting the same thing before 3.1.2 -- but not on all Scapples. I think it might have something to do with how many notes the Scapple has, but I can't be sure . Or rule out that RAM plays a part. I'm using a fairly wimpy MBA.

Re: Ignoring the time zone change in custom metadata = reverting to today's date

Let me know if you still see the issue in 3.1.2 when it's out. Ok, contracting columns is no longer an issue, but... ... something weird is happening with Aeon/Scrivener syncing after the update (at least for me). I'll explain in screenshots Here's an event created in Aeon with date and time: https...

Re: Scrivener + Scapple ... writing and mapping on the same application

I As it has been said in this thread before, and in the knowledge base, and in many other threads: we have no plans to combine these two completely different programs together into one. Scrivener and Scapple are two different applications, and should remain that way in my opinion. Although very ada...

Small usability suggestion: dropdown to persist when using Opt-click for multiple selections with Project Search

It's not a killer, but unless I've missed a way to keep it on screen, the dropdown that appears when you click the magnifying glass icon vanishes each time you click on one of the choices. That's fine when you're changing one thing, but if you're Opt-clicking to set up a complex search you have to c...

Re: Ignoring the time zone change in custom metadata = reverting to today's date

Could you please check the Project Settings to see if this date custom metadata field is set to "Ignore time zone changes"? Yup. That's the way it comes in from Aeon (with good reason, obviously). Here's proof (the custom format is my own tampering, but it happens with either my homebaked...
