Remove indent

How can I remove the indent from the first paragraph in chapter and after a scene break? I have seen that the Mac version allows it. How about Windows?

Scriveners Automatic save and backups functions

Hello, I need help in understanding Scrivener's "save" and "backup to" functions. I am automatically saving my work in a folder created in my "documents." I also have "Backup to" set to go to Dropbox. In either case the list of saved documents exceeds the inst...

Re: Cut Down version of the Manual

Being that my platform is Windows, I find the combination Mac-Windows user manual very confusing. As to the tutoring, since it is strictly for Mac, it doesnt help me at all. Also, it would be nice to have a succinct manual and tutoring exclusively for Windows; with less descriptions and more detaile...

Re: Retain Backup Files

Probably... I changed several times the folder where backups are retained. Also the name of the project. I really must have goofed. Now, if I keep everything as is at this moment, how will I begin to see only my 3 latest backups?

Retain Backup Files

I instruct the "Retain Backup Files" to retain only 5 backups. However the backup folder keeps adding backups ad infinitum. It accumulates so many backups that it gets to be extremely annoying and cumbersome. Is this a glitch in the software? Or can the problem be corrected? Appreciate you...

Loss of material

In my attempt to understand the workings of the Backups I lost the last 900 or so words written on my project. Is there a way to recover them from somewhere? Also, the backup function does not keep only the 5 last savings as ordered, and the backups do not appear in chronological order as per date. ...

Syncing

I'm trying to sync via Dropbox a chapter of my project so that I can work on it on my Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet while away from home. Although it opens all right in Polaris Office, it does so as a "read only" document, meaning that I can't edit or add to it. I'd appreciate if someone would h...

Internal reference

I'm not sure I understand how to use this feature. Is it to find previous mentions of a given character or event? How is it different from "find" or "search"
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
