[LH2754] - unable to minimize windows too large for screen

I'm using Scrivener on a laptop, and I use either the laptop monitor or connect to a large screen. Both screens have different resolutions. With the laptop monitor, some windows are too big for the screen (for example, the 'options', screen), but I can't minimize it or move it up, I can only move it...

Re: Wordcount in compiled document has full stop, not comma

English UK should be okay. It's just that I was playing around with the Windows options and noticed that it affects how Scrivener compiles. Under 'Windows Start', go to 'Change the date, time or number format'. Click on 'Additional Settings'. In the 'Numbers' tab, the 'digit grouping symbol' should ...

Re: Wordcount in compiled document has full stop, not comma

I think this might be a Windows issue.

Go to "change the date, time or number format" and check what language format you're set to.

Annotation circle

I'm starting to write a story in Hebrew, and I've ran across a weird problem.

When I mark test as an annotation, it's circled, not boxed, and it cuts off the letters.

You just saved me tons of work! I started doing it manually when it suddenly occurred to me this forum might offer a better answer :-) Thank you!

Clearing out all text

I have a document set up with various text files. I would like to turn it into a type of template - clear out all the text (document text, synopsis and notes) and just leave the files with their titles. Is that possible without going one by one?

Multi-selecting compilation

Is it possible to select several documents and then mark all them at once whether they should be included in the compilation or not? I see it's possible with label and status.

Search by formatting

When I do a 'search by formatting' on selected documents, the search appears in whichever editor I'm in - regardless of whether it's set to editor, corkboard or outliner.

But if the text wasn't originally set as 'editor', the results can be completely off.

Split screen question

I recently started working with the split screen option. It's very useful! My question: I'm working with a horizontal split. Are the minimum heights of the two editors set, or is it possible to change them somehow? I see the bottom editor's minimum height is slightly more than the top editor's, I gu...

Re: Weird behavior with first letter in line

The document was written entirely in Scrivener. But your suggestion solved the problem. Once I converted, the missing letters showed up. To create the files, I had a list of text and I used 'split with selection as title' for each line. This might have created the indent problem you mention, though ...

Weird behavior with first letter in line

I just ran into some weird behavior. I'm not sure how to reproduce it. I'm working on a document with many short text files. Currently in my draft I have about 150 files, most of them empty. When I started writing into one of those text file, the first letter (for most letters) did not show up. This...

Search box 'default value'

If I choose search options and then go back to my document, the 'default value' of the search text is not updated. It is only updated after I run the search.
