Re: composition mode layout and colors

I´m not quite sure what you mean by "make it part of the background image before you upload it." Do you mean that it would just be like a "fake" paper/ parchment paper, just for inspiration? I won´t actually be writing on it right? Sorry if it´s a stupid question, I´m not sure a...

Re: composition mode layout and colors

I found how to fade the background, but not the paper, is it one of those things that is only in the mac version, or is it hidden somewhere? I am on Windows using version 1.6, and to change the color of the paper or its opacity, just go to... Tools > Options > Appearance > Fullscreen > Page Then cl...

Re: composition mode layout and colors

Thanks for this tip! :D I´m still trying to find my way around scrivener, trying out as many tips as I can find around here. I made a background to fit my screen, and made the page width just small enough to fit a poem-ish thing. I found how to fade the background, but not the paper, is it one of th...

Re: Is there a way to float windows?

We do have plans for being able to open individual binder documents in a separate floating editor, but at the moment there is just the split editor in the main window. You can use this though to be working on your draft document in one editor and viewing your research material in the other, which f...

Floating windows workaround

Hi, I have read tons of posts here, but I can´t find anything about being able to float windows in the Windows version of Scrivener. What I need was a way to be able to look at references while writing. I came up with a kind of crude workaround by keeping several windows open along side Scrivener, a...

Is there a way to float windows?

Hi :) I have tried to search the forum, and have seen that it has been requested to be able have multiple floating windows open at the same time, but that was about two years ago, I can´t find if this exists yet, and if it does where do I find the option in Scrivener? The only window I can find that...

Re: Spellchecker language Swedish?

Since a lot of people use Word for formatting etc., as one of the steps before publishing you always have the option of ignoring the spelling whilst in Scrivener and save it until you're done with the first draft (either compiling for word or copy/paste into word). Hej från Malmö by the way. Yes, t...

Re: Spellchecker language Swedish?

Hej Vafann! Found it! Tools-Options-Corrections. There you can turn off the spellchecking, or even download (and after a restart) a Swedish dictionary. So far, pretty ok! :D However, the downloaded dictionary is pretty crappy, so I'm not sure what will be best: turn it off, or trying to teach it so...

Spellchecker language Swedish?

Hi! I am new to Scrivener and think I might have a problem unless there is some way to solve it. I write mostly in Swedish so the English spellchecker is underlining every word I write with the red squiggly lines. Is there some way to get a Swedish spellchecker into Scrivener, or at least turn off t...
