Re: BETA 31 Copy from Scrivener to Word Processor doesn't paste format

No, this is in WPS Office (http://www.wps.com). I realize that LibreOffice is dominant, but their spreadsheet doesn't handle dates prior to 1/1/1900. OpenOffice is the ONLY spreadsheet that I've found that does. The question is why this has changed from 1.90.30. Aaahh, my bad, I assumed WPS was jus...

Re: BETA 31 Copy from Scrivener to Word Processor doesn't paste format

Which WPS are you using as your main (I'm assuming LibreOffice)? My results were as follows: Pasted with formatting in Word (both client and cloud versions) Pasted text but without formatting in Google Docs I can test LibreOffice when I get home, but this may end up being a problem with Linux (since...

Re: Is it possible to convert back?

Almost every install I have done has taken hours or days. So it hasn't been this easy to install process that the rest of you enjoy. And I have had some head injuries that makes it impossible to hold the convoluted install process that we now use in my brain. This means my spouse must come in and w...

Re: Just about out of patience

As solid as the Beta is... I'm actually grateful every time a new beta is released so I can keep using V3 for free, lol. Scrivener is the best writing software available imo, so let'[s take this to the video game world that everyone keeps bringing up. Developer: "We have developed the greatest ...

Session Target Time Reset Not Working

Hey Win Team,

I have my session target goal set to reset at midnight. When I opened up my project for the first time today, it still had the word count from yesterday, Reset on close seems to work correctly.

Re: I guess Scrivner is way better on MAC

'm aware that the Mac version has more features, and I have read the list of them. I've been trying the software out on Windows and I love it. What I'm wondering is, from a user experience perspective, is it considerably more pleasant to use Scrivener on Mac than on Windows? I've been saving up to ...

Hanging Launch and Resolution Bug

Hey WinScriv Team! Ran into an interesting bug. On a new computer, I was having connection issues when connecting to my iPhone's hotspot - very slow, pages not loading well, etc. Additionally, (I guess because of connecting to dropbox), Scrivener would hang on launch on finding the project. I discon...

Font DOesn't Work When Creating New Document from iOS

Hello! So, if you already have the text document in a Scrivener project created and the font on both your iOS device and your windows machine, you can edit the document fine and no issues arise. However, if create the document on your iOS device, even if the font is on both machines, it still opens ...

Re: Will iOS Scriv Work in iPad OS?

Promise?? Maybe it’s a language thing but to me Yeah, I think it's a language thing. I was using "promise" meaning "the quality of potential excellence." Like a "promising student." So you could reparse that sentence as: I want Scrivener to fulfill its potential excell...

You wrote this while I was making my long post, but I just wanted to say... I completely agree.

Re: Will iOS Scriv Work in iPad OS?

Personally, I like focus, and I like the way Apple is heading. Some people say that iPad Scrivener ported to the Mac through Catalyst would be a compromised app. Some people say that Apple products have to be compromised to accommodate Windows syncing. Somewhere along the line, compromises always h...

Re: Will iOS Scriv Work in iPad OS?

I'm gathering from all this discussion that the answer is, "no one knows" yet, lol. So I will definitely be holding off upgrading until I hear something official from all you at L&L. I don't know why Apple is so determined to make mobile a mobile OS the primary platform to get work don...

Re: Old (Font) Bug, New Circumstance

Is Book Antiqua installed on the Surface?. It comes with Office, which I had already installed. However, I went back and checked based on what you said, and apparently Microsoft now for some reason doesn't fully install the fonts with Office, but rather holds them in the cloud until you select them...
