Re: Pasting Text Ignores Margins - Release Candidate 5

Yep. Definite bug. My workaround is to use "Paste and Match Style" and that works.

[LH4317][36] Memory Leak

Not sure "memory leak" is the correct phrase. But whenever I click on a folder while in edit mode, the system memory jumps by about 30MB and doesn't go back down. When I click the main manuscript folder (currently 32,000 words in the file) the system memory jumps by around 500MB. By clicki...

Re: Beta 27 Possible Memory Leak Issue (with steps to reproduce)

Ditto. Beta 32, Windows 10. Each time I select my manuscript folder, memory jumps a couple hundred MB. My project is 1.5 MB in size with 24,000 words. Memory jumps every time I click a single project folder and then click the master manuscript folder. By doing this a half-dozen times, my memory usag...

Re: Unexpected result when using Undo right after pasting text

I'm getting weird behavior with Undo in Beta 31 when I undo a character OR paragraph style. Last time was this:

Highlighted a word and added a character style to it.

Pressed Ctrl - Z to undo that style.

Cursor jumped to the top of the file (however, the character style was undone as expected).

Re: [Beta 29] New auto yellow comment highlighting issue...

This is still happening in Beta 31 and affects both Comment highlighting and Preserve Format highlighting. The highlight expands until it reaches text. The image shows a yellow Comment with blank paragraphs after it and then three Preserve Format highlights, some with and some without blank paragrap...

Session Target - Beta 26 - Moving files to Trash

This might be related to [LH4030] and I don't really know how to explain this because I can't figure out a common thread when testing this, but here goes :) First noticed it when I split a file and then moved the just-split file to Trash. The Session Target lowered, but not by the amount of words in...

Re: [LH3039] How to remove extra line heigth before paragraph

Not sure this is the correct topic, but I assume it's one of these two that were posted as fixed in Beta 19: Line height displays incorrectly large in editor [3280] Line spacing too large [3039] The spacing within a paragraph looks good in Beta 19 (I've tried it at 1.1x, 1.5x, and 2.0x), but the spa...

.mobi file is justified, want left-justified

Scrivener for Windows 1.9 Okay, I'm officially confused. Unofficially, I'm bewildered. I'm compiling to .mobi my sixth book (I think), and when I open it in my Kindle app (in Windows and Android), it's fully justified instead of left-justified. I looked at previous books and they're left-justified. ...

Re: Can you preserve format of indents for .mobi?

Well, figured it out, though the workaround is a bit of a PITA. Created a table (didn't even realize you could create tables in Scrivener until this evening). It's one row and two columns. I reduced the first column to 8%. In the second column I added the Block Quote text and used "Preserve for...

Can you preserve format of indents for .mobi?

Using Windows 1.9. Some of my characters are DMing each other and I want to differentiate that text from the rest of the prose. I stumbled upon using the Block Quote style in the forum, which gives me a different font with my .mobi compile. What I need is to indent the Block Quote as a block (just l...

Re: Scrivener balky on Windows 10 SP3...why?

Had Scrivener open all day as a test. Not one moment of lag. Here's what I did thanks to all y'all's suggestions: ⋅ Opened task manager to keep an eye on CPU and Memory. Scrivener never got above .2% CPU usage and stayed right around 75MB memory the entire day. ⋅ Scrolled through...

Re: Scrivener balky on Windows 10 SP3...why?

Thanks for the replies.

My backup is zipped and saved to my local Google drive when I close Scrivener. Then Google syncs it to the cloud after the fact.

I haven't looked at my CPU and memory usage during the lag like FredBob. I'll have to give that a try.
