Re: Grateful for the good news

I finally broke down and installed RC -- I had not really looked at the earlier beta versions since I did not want to get my hopes up. But I am so happy to see things that I had needed (snapshot compares, revision mode....) So looking forward to v3 !!! And I (being hopeful) wish it will be released ...

Re: Scrivener 3 Windows Release

Thank you for correcting me. I was mistaken and humbly accept my error. My apologies Luis The fact that now a Linux version will (IMHO) compete for development resources is adding a little salt to the wound that has remained open for a few years now. This is not true. Development of the Linux versio...

Re: Scrivener 3 Windows Release

Sigh.... I must admit I am frustrated with the Windows development cycle. It seems that we always hear that the Win version "will catch up" with the Mac version but it does not ever seem to. The fact that now a Linux version will (IMHO) compete for development resources is adding a little ...

Re: [NB] Overall Impression: I Would Not Upgrade

Hey there. I'd agree with you that a certain amount of clarity around project planning, milestone targets and delivery expectations would be both common and necessary if having a conversation with corporate investors on a non-tech development programme. However, in the tech space (and software espe...

Re: If anybody needs me, I'll be refreshing the screen until 3.0 beta arrives.

I have to admit I am both thrilled that Windows is getting the enhancements in v3 (which hopefully will be on par or close to the Mac version) -- and also frustrated and annoyed it's taking this long to get the Win version anywhere near the Mac version. Thanks for the work but pls don't wait so long...

Re: Securing Dropbox files from theft

I may be missing something, or this could be an old thread where the synch client did not have the capability.... Most services like Dropbox now have a client that automatically syncs, so if it is deleted from the cloud it is deleted from the local next time it syncs, no? At least that is how my clo...

Re: Dropbox and other backup strategies.

My main objection to Dropbox is the cost for anything other than 2GB. When I backup, I want to make sure all my research notes and materials are also backed up. I switched to Copy [ https://copy.com?r=1PX1Bb ] and got 20GB for free (actually it is 15GB to start and an additional 5GB if you nstall th...

wish list prioritization?

I am new user and am exploring the forum.

Maybe this already exists, but if not could be useful to both L&L and users. Is there a way to vote or state user enhancement priorities?

Thanks!!
