Excited about the upcoming new Windows version - love the new UI. Also glad to see the name generator is still available, but if you change number of last names to '2' and press 'Generate names' the beta unexpectedly quits.
Just thought I'd raise the profile of this issue again!
Not 100% sure if this is directly related, but I do seem get a higher incidence of double spaces between words when I'm typing in Scrivener than other editors.

From reading the other posts this thread (or is threads in the post?) I can see this is a known issue. So this is just to let you know it also happens when pasting content from a WordPress site, when the WordPress site is being edited. Pressing OK unexpectedly closes Scrivener, sometimes with the pa...
Hi from cold, wet and windy England I know this is not exactly what you are after, and I also think what you have suggested is a good idea, but have you tried the option 'Select Connected Notes' under the Edit menu, then using the 'Stack' option under the Notes menu. I've used this technique a few t...
I'm afraid the lack of auto-layout to automatically fix layout/spacing on either the whole or part of the design space is more-or-less a deal-breaker for me. :( When I first started using Scapple I had a battle (with myself, for the most part) trying to get everything perfectly lined up and formatt...
I agree this is annoying. It would be far more useful if Scapple pasted to the centre of the current screen, rather than the whole Scapple board. There are two things that might work: One ⋅ copy the note when displayed at Actual size, then ⋅ Zoom To Fit (F10) to view the whole Sc...
Hi Maybe the best thing to do is give it a try with one or two of your worst case scenario tables and see firsthand how it goes. I’ve recently copy and pasted from MS Word a few simple three column tables which have all been fine. Once in Scrivener you don’t get much in the way of control over forma...
Just a minor thing, but I would not necessarily look for the Character Map under the Edit menu. I would first go to, in order of preference, View, Tools then Format. I notice the View menu is already quite full though. Either way I'm pleased there is a link in the first place.
+1 from me - although I've recently discovered a small free program called PureText by Steve Miller, that does the job of pasting plain text perfectly: http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/ I also raised a similar point about formatting in a post about dragging notes in from Scapple: http://www.liter...
I can't seem to find the customise toolbar option to add the show invisibles icon to the toolbar anymore. Also not sure if help file correct as it mentions there is a 'show' option under the view menu.
