Hi, I am not sure if this is a bug or something else. If this has been covered elsewhere, please direct me there. I am using Ubuntu 11.04 on a Lenovo laptop. If I delete a long block of text by holding down the backspace key or hold down the arrow key for about 5 or more seconds, everything gets slo...
Thanks for making this. This installed okay on my computer and system. I am running ubuntu 11.04 32 bit. There was an error about file size, I think, but I ignored it, and Scrivener runs fine.
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me here. I have been using Scrivener for a while on my linux computers. Now, I am using Ubuntu 11.04 on a new Lenovo B575. Last week, I updated Ubuntu. I also installed the input method for japanese called Anthy. I am not sure if this caused the problem or no...
Hi, This may or may not help, but I had a similar problem. As I typed, Scrivener was highlighting pieces of text and throwing letters left and right of the cursor, so I ended up with gibberish. It also was about six or seven letters behind what I was typing. It seemed to be some kind of problem rela...
I am still using 25, but I think I found a workaround of sorts. If you highlight the text, then go to the "format" menu and choose "fonts" and change it that way, it works. I mean, it worked for me.
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem and might have a solution/workaround. Problem: In some sections of my work, I have used the font called Nimbus Sans L in version 24. I then installed 25 via the deb file and I wanted to change our friend Nimbus into Times New Roman or Cen...
I have that happen almost every time I start it up. One of the colors is usually off since version 23. It is easy to fix. I have gotten used to going to options and loading the settings I've saved almost every time I use Scrivener. It might be nice to have a little more stability with that and the r...
Hi, I am running a 32 bit, Ubuntu 10.04, and I can confirm that the deb worked fine for me. I just double-clicked the downloaded deb file and off it went. One small thing that may confuse some people is that the installer at first will say that you are reinstalling, so I suppose it must think it is ...
Thanks for the reply. I installed it, then went to the terminal and typed Scrivener, and this came up: /usr/share/LiteratureAndLatte/bin/Scrivener: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/local/LiteratureAndLatte/lib/libQtWebKit.so.4: file too short
I am wondering if this wiki still up to date? The instructions for the native version are for a zip, and they do not seem to work for 23. Are there instructions somewhere?
No, I am not really learning Japanese. I live here, so I am somewhat forced to use it. I didn't use Kanji because that would be a bit strange for the context. I said it because I cannot get Scrivener to work, no matter what I try, and I really wanted some step by step instructions since the ones on ...
