Re: Beta 0.9.0.1 - Bug Report & Comments

To clarify, I'm referring to Scapple opening an unedited and unsaved blank document and leaving it open in a separate window after selecting File\Open from there. I'm not talking about switching from one file to another. There is very limited value in saving a blank document which is why most progra...

Re: Beta 0.9.0.1 - Bug Report & Comments

Ah! I've just discovered - Chrome was causing the problem. It was occurring when Chrome was layered directly underneath. Problem disappeared if Chrome was minimized or not not running. Do you think there will be a re-think on the question of File/Open not opening a new instance? I've checked a few o...

Drag Select

When dragging to select multiple notes and reaching the window boundary I would anticipate automatic scrolling to allow the selection to be extended (assuming notes exist beyond the boundary). I guess this is a feature request rather than a bug but it's expected behaviour these days with this type o...

Re: Beta 0.9.0.1 - Bug Report & Comments

Thank you for the response Jennifer. Sorry, I should have been a little clearer with the full screen bug description. The problem with an autohidden task bar mouseover occurs after full screen has been toggled on and then OFF with F11 i.e. not while full screen is active. Interestingly, this is a ve...

Beta 0.9.0.1 - Bug Report & Comments

Having used Scapple for a while now I really think this product will achieve a quick take up when launched. It's easy to learn, and doesn't stand in the way of getting thoughts recorded and organized. I don't know what your marketing strategy is but if you can get people using it then you'll have no...

Beta 0.9.01

Many thanks for updated Beta. I'll test and submit a bug report in due course but one thing that's annoying the hell out of me already and just wouldn't wait:- BUG Print Preview\Scale to Fit in One Page - right aligns instead of centering. Scapple is not listed for purchase in links provided - presu...

Beta 0.1.0.2 - Bug Report

BUG - Selecting all notes in a stack and choosing notes>distribute>horizontally crashes program. UNRESOLVED BUGS FROM PREVIOUS BETA BUG - With a Centre text alignment and the Enter to finish editing option enabled, pressing the Enter key leads to staggered rather than aligned notes. BUG - intermitte...

Re: Initial Feedback

We could consider that. The reasoning for the current scheme is that it becomes very obvious if you are in the right menu for applying stuff, vs. any of the management menus. We want management menus (such as delete and redefine) to be very clear in that they will be destructive to the style. The l...

Initial Feedback

Firstly, and most importantly, congratulations on a genuinely innovative product. This has the potential, for the first time with this type of software, to be a genuine replacement for pen and paper. Some possible bugs: - BUG - Copy and Paste into a text document includes extra line breaks BUG - Not...

Re: Easier navigation of the workspace

Thanks for the kludge but hopefully serious consideration will be given to resolving this. For windows users the extendable canvas is fairly common now e.g. in visio and onenote. The first three minutes of this video on visio describe the concept fairly well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bc9lt7nw0...

Re: Easier navigation of the workspace

It would be nice if drag+spacebar could also be used to support extending the canvas/field of use i.e. creating negative coordinates.
