Re: The question marks dissapear

I've got the same problem with recent iOs and Windows versions of Scrivener. I just edited my text on iPad and then synced it with desktop. '?' characters disappeared.

Re: Issues with compiling to docx format

MimeticMotion, thank you. I'll try to use your suggestions about Word format features. But why there is no SVG support? Are there any technical limitations? AFAIK, Qt Framework supports SVG graphics out of the box...

Issues with compiling to docx format

Tables does are not compiled properly. I have document only with one table and after compilation corresponded page in docx is empty. D...

Perfect! Could you tell (roughly) in which version this feature will be available?

Best regards,

Custom autonumbering counters in Windows Version

Hi all,

There are custom autonumbering counters present in Mac version of Scrivener for ages (since 2.4.1 at least). Their notation is "<$n:keyword:tag>". Is there any chanes to see such feature in Windows version of Scrivener?

Best regards,
Flex.

Re: Compile to FB2 - is it possible?

Hi, rip, I should notice what RTF to HTML to FB2 conversion is only one part of the task. Also there are some structure markup tags in FB2, such as sections, subsections, titles, footnotes, metainfo etc. Scrivener should produce this markup properly during the compilation process. shirozaemon, thank...

It is accessable from 'Сервис -> Параметры' menu. After you download russian dicrtionary you need to return to this page of 'Параметры' dialog, press 'Выбрать...' button and choose Russian dictionary.

Re: russian language in scrivener

Hi, It seems like you didn't download Russian dictionary. Please, visit settings, choose 'Правка' section, then check for dictionary selected. Just after installation it should be 'English' dictionary selected there. If yes, press 'Загрузить', select 'Russian' dictionary and then restart Scrivener a...

Compile to FB2 - is it possible?

Hi all, FB2 (Fiction Book 2, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FictionBook ) is a popular e-book format in Russia. Now I have to use three programs (Scrivener, e-book converter and Fiction Book Editor) in order to create normal (and full-featured) FB2 e-book. The main problem is: there is no direct way t...

Re: 1.7.1.0 Unusual form of file paths

I think it was just a matter of pasting the path in different places, though. Yes. Sure. For instance if use File > Open in Notepad, it opens the standard file browser and pasting the link in the address bar at the top works fine, but pasting it in the "File name" field at the bottom does...

'Layout manager' window behaviour

Is it really necessary to keep 'Layout manager' window always on top even when Scrivener is not foreground application?

Re: 1.7.1.0 Unusual form of file paths

It's not a just an 'graphical appearance' problem. If you try to copy-paste such kind of path into standard Windows 'Open File' dialog, you'll get 'Invalid file path' error. Is this a dialog from another program? Either form works for Windows Explorer or the Start menu, likewise the standard file b...

1.7.1.0 Unusual form of file paths

Common problem for import and export dialogs is an unusual (for Windows) form of file paths: slash ('/') instead of backslash ('\') as a path separator. Here is a screenshot of "Import OPML file" dialog: ScrivenerBrokenGUI.png Same problem is for 'Import and Split', 'Export files', 'Export...
