Re: HELP!!! License compromised.

Unfortunately, this forum is for peer support only. So, no one here is really qualified to help you with licensing issues.

Fortunately, you've already taken the right step and emailed Literature and Latte. Hope you can get it worked out!

Re: Android version

Now that's just harsh, :D but in all honesty I don't think you're far off the mark. I too am certain the Mr/Ms Negatives will be along shortly to demand/proclaim their allegiance or lack thereof. I don't know what you're talking about. That totally wasn't a parody post or anything but my ...

Re: Congratulations Team L&L!

Well darn, I have to pay for an upgrade after using the free beta for all this time.

j/k It's totally worth it. Congratulations, it's been a long road, but you made it!

Android version

Well, now that we have a Windows version release I wanted to be ahead of the curve and ask when we can expect an Android version. I know these things take time and I think it's very reasonable that you should already have a time table after we waited so long for the Windows release. So when can we e...

It's available, you just need to be using the latest release candidate.

Re: Petition for Scrivener on Android.

There is no need for a petition, an android version is planned after the Windows 3.0 release. I wouldn't expect it any time soon though. This comment is from Keith (the head of Literature and Latte) on the this blog . The Windows version is built using Qt, and Qt can be compiled to run on Android - ...

Re: Bought Scrivener for Macbook, now I want iOS

I bought Scrivener for my Macbook, and now I want it on my iOS so I can sync my projects across both devices. 1 - can I sync them easily? 2 - do I have to buy a separate license for iOS or is it included with my Mac license? 1. Syncing is easy, but requires a dropbox subscription. On the iOS end of...

Re: Writing aids?

PWA's desktop app can read and write Scrivener files, so that may be worth looking at if you don't mind paying the sub. I'm giving that another try for my next novel in a few days, once the WIP is completed. PWA is exellent, but worth noting you can pay for a lifetime subscription. Don't fall for t...

Re: License activation in Beta?

Greetings! Brand new user who just bought the existing version of Windows Scrivener and decided I’d best get up to speed on the v3 beta due to its impending release date and the fact that several collaborators use the MacOS version. Possible dumb question though: is there a way for me to enter my k...

Re: Can't launch Scrivener (Nor Scapple)

I am having a similar issue. I downloaded the free trial yesterday, and I can't get past the installer. The program is not on my computer and will not load. What's the point of this software if we cannot install or launch it? I have figured out that the trial is not compatible with Windows 10. Did ...

That problem is not unique to IT. I worked retail for years and it was something I ran into on pretty much a daily basis.

Re: The Great Big Scrivener Survey

Learning about customer difficulties is always helpful This is not an accurate statement; it is dogma. Sometimes the customer is wrong and their difficulties and viewpoint is not relevant, because they want something that you don't want to provide, or have completely mistaken expectations no matter...

Re: The Great Big Scrivener Survey

Hey that wasn't too bad! I've completed much longer surveys.

I do hope you don't opt for a simplified version of Scrivener. I think it's just fine the way it is.

BTW, as a trans person I do appreciate you putting non-binary gender options in the survey.
