It's available, you just need to be using the latest release candidate.

Re: Petition for Scrivener on Android.

There is no need for a petition, an android version is planned after the Windows 3.0 release. I wouldn't expect it any time soon though. This comment is from Keith (the head of Literature and Latte) on the this blog . The Windows version is built using Qt, and Qt can be compiled to run on Android - ...

Re: Bought Scrivener for Macbook, now I want iOS

I bought Scrivener for my Macbook, and now I want it on my iOS so I can sync my projects across both devices. 1 - can I sync them easily? 2 - do I have to buy a separate license for iOS or is it included with my Mac license? 1. Syncing is easy, but requires a dropbox subscription. On the iOS end of...

Re: Writing aids?

PWA's desktop app can read and write Scrivener files, so that may be worth looking at if you don't mind paying the sub. I'm giving that another try for my next novel in a few days, once the WIP is completed. PWA is exellent, but worth noting you can pay for a lifetime subscription. Don't fall for t...

Re: License activation in Beta?

Greetings! Brand new user who just bought the existing version of Windows Scrivener and decided I’d best get up to speed on the v3 beta due to its impending release date and the fact that several collaborators use the MacOS version. Possible dumb question though: is there a way for me to enter my k...

Re: Can't launch Scrivener (Nor Scapple)

I am having a similar issue. I downloaded the free trial yesterday, and I can't get past the installer. The program is not on my computer and will not load. What's the point of this software if we cannot install or launch it? I have figured out that the trial is not compatible with Windows 10. Did ...

That problem is not unique to IT. I worked retail for years and it was something I ran into on pretty much a daily basis.

Re: The Great Big Scrivener Survey

Learning about customer difficulties is always helpful This is not an accurate statement; it is dogma. Sometimes the customer is wrong and their difficulties and viewpoint is not relevant, because they want something that you don't want to provide, or have completely mistaken expectations no matter...

Re: The Great Big Scrivener Survey

Hey that wasn't too bad! I've completed much longer surveys.

I do hope you don't opt for a simplified version of Scrivener. I think it's just fine the way it is.

BTW, as a trans person I do appreciate you putting non-binary gender options in the survey.

Re: No British English option

If you're looking for UK English for the spellchecker, you need Go to Tools / Options / Corrections and select British English. If it doesn't appear in the options you'll need to hit the Download button and install the appropriate dictionary.

And I suppose you have proof of that? I don't recall seeing anything that set a hard date and I've looked. Maybe not quire what you're looking for, but look here: https://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=274224#p274224 Before releasing v.3 for Mac. September 2016. We'll have news so...

Re: Has Windows Version 3 Been Scrapped?

It wasn't promised in 2018 either, Literature and Latte has only ever released estimates, they never made promises. Oh but it was! You could argue whether or not it was a "promise", but I distinctly remember the announcement "Coming in 2018". Those words about Scrivener 3.0 for ...

Re: Using 3 beta in production situation?

Thank you, Katherine, for your quick response. I'm dying to use the beta for a real project so this helps a great deal. How about going to a newer beta releases? Going from 2.9x to 2.9xx for example? Is that likely to cause an issue with the project? Mark I've hopped between more than a dozen betas...
