There is no need for a petition, an android version is planned after the Windows 3.0 release. I wouldn't expect it any time soon though. This comment is from Keith (the head of Literature and Latte) on the this blog . The Windows version is built using Qt, and Qt can be compiled to run on Android - ...
I bought Scrivener for my Macbook, and now I want it on my iOS so I can sync my projects across both devices. 1 - can I sync them easily? 2 - do I have to buy a separate license for iOS or is it included with my Mac license? 1. Syncing is easy, but requires a dropbox subscription. On the iOS end of...

PWA's desktop app can read and write Scrivener files, so that may be worth looking at if you don't mind paying the sub. I'm giving that another try for my next novel in a few days, once the WIP is completed. PWA is exellent, but worth noting you can pay for a lifetime subscription. Don't fall for t...
Greetings! Brand new user who just bought the existing version of Windows Scrivener and decided I’d best get up to speed on the v3 beta due to its impending release date and the fact that several collaborators use the MacOS version. Possible dumb question though: is there a way for me to enter my k...
I am having a similar issue. I downloaded the free trial yesterday, and I can't get past the installer. The program is not on my computer and will not load. What's the point of this software if we cannot install or launch it? I have figured out that the trial is not compatible with Windows 10. Did ...
Learning about customer difficulties is always helpful This is not an accurate statement; it is dogma. It wasn't promised in 2018 either, Literature and Latte has only ever released estimates, they never made promises. Oh but it was! You could argue whether or not it was a "promise", but I distinctly remember the announcement "Coming in 2018". Those words about Scrivener 3.0 for ...
Thank you, Katherine, for your quick response. I'm dying to use the beta for a real project so this helps a great deal. How about going to a newer beta releases? Going from 2.9x to 2.9xx for example? Is that likely to cause an issue with the project? Mark I've hopped between more than a dozen betas...
