Re: RC15 Download hangs at 96%

Mine stopped for a while while unpacking DLLs (and looked hung or taking longer than previous releases did), but then finished fine.

Re: Writing History: Remove/Delete a date?

I will test out the Save As Template on both my Mac and Windows machines and once I have actual results and see if they work the same or differently, then I will raise as bug in the appropriate forum. Thanks.

Re: Writing History: Remove/Delete a date?

Thanks for that - it worked for me. I have a question and a suggestion. The question is why if it is an XML file, it does not have the XML extension (I am using Windows current beta, so found file under Windows Explorer.)? Not that big a deal, but had to then find Brackets my text editor to open it ...

Re: Continued problem with bullets in 2.9.0.21

Not sure if this has been reported elsewhere yet as I have been away from the forum for a while. Bullets in general work fine on R21/22 for me, The problem I have is when I am in the middle of a bulleted list and want to add a new bullet above the current one, I position the cursor at the beginning ...

Re: [LH3774] Bulleted List formatting Error

Thanks Tiho - will play around with it in Beta 20. I use a lot of bullets in my technical writing and it has been frustrating to have to re-format between platforms and / or set up more than enough bullets in Windows and then delete unused ones (but would still screw up when entering one in the midd...

Re: [LH3774] Bulleted List formatting Error

Can someone please guide me to where this Options is? I cannot find it under Options nor on a menu? I would like to test this out syncing between iOS and Windows to see if it has in fact improved anything / everything. Thanks.

Re: Keep up the awesome work!

Good point and many congratulations on a phenomenal job. I have had access to Releae 3 for Windows since RC17 and it has been an amazing journey to see what you guys have accomplished. The nature of bug reporting always seems so negative, but I have rarely seen so much accomplished by such as small ...

Re: Outliner View Columns reverted to Standard, losing all Metadata columns

You have this filed under [LH2898] which is the better description of the actual problem and supersedes this post.

Re: Outliner View Columns reverted to Standard, losing all Metadata columns

Sorry Bryan, I shoul have updated this and it has been filed under a different bug report by you or Jennifer anyway I believe). What I have found out is that when opening the project new, and immediately looking at the View > Outliner Columns that nothing shows, but if you do indeed, go to Outliner ...

Design question, not a bug

In Composition Mode, at the bottom of the screen, you can raise a footer bar with a number of functions (which is nice to have). But I am curious as to why to have provided Keywords its own dedicated space on the bottom row, yet it can still be called up using the Inspector to the right of it. Is th...

[NB] Typewriter Scrolling Control when in Composition Mode

I can only turn Typewriter Scrolling on or off once in Composition Mode by using the shortcut CTRL+G, CTRL+T. Turning it on or off when not in Composition Mode does not apply once I enter Composition Mode again. The two Modes seem to work independently of each other. Whereas on Mac 3.01, I can turn ...

[NB] Locking Editor in Place prevents new document when selecting one in Binder, but not when using the arrowheads

I am not sure of your intended behavior when locking the Editor in place. It works as expected when I try to select another document in the Binder and it will not replace the one in the Editor. But if I select the arrowheads for previous or next document or the arrowheads for up or down in the Binde...

Re: [BB] Other Editor Active and selected document in Binder replaces document in Main Editor instead

Brilliant! That solved it. I was not even aware of that option, but somehow must have clicked on it inadvertently when viewing the Navigate menu and then somehow clicking on it. I tested it out and now working the way you would expect it to. Thanks for showing me that.

Re: [BB] Windows task bar

Bryan, that is the experience I have when just testing this out as it did not yet show my newly created Scrivener 3 project, but it did show one I had created new in Scrivener 3 and the opened by double clicking on it.
