eSellerate upgrade process for v2 to v3 is broken

eSellerate's page for entering email addresses after clicking the Upgrade link for v3 says: Upgrade pricing: The update to Scrivener 2.0 is free for users who bought Scrivener 1.x on or after 1st August 2010, and $25 for users who purchased Scrivener 1.x before that (the upgrade fee is the same for ...

Re: Overwhelming praise

Adding my deepest gratitude for Scrivener iOS and the hard hard work that lead up to it. It's obviously a highly intelligent piece of craftsmanship. One that I'm looking forward to using enjoyable for years to come. A while back I bought an iPad Pro and then, with buyer's regret, wondered why I did ...

Re: Overwhelming Praise and Two-up question

This feature is also helpful for working on different sections of the same file. Instead of opening a second file as "reference", open the same file. You can edit in both panels.

DEVONthink -> Aeon

Some folks (like me) who work with DEVONthink + Aeon + Scrivener might find this script useful. Case: wish to make an Aeon timeline reflecting a selection of documents located in a DEVONthink database. It's simplistic -- make it better if you wish.

Re: Scapple Beta (Download Here)

Very nice. Thanks.

Would be helpful if exports to plain text didn't insist that files have .txt extension. It is just plain text after all, so not much can go wrong. Export direct to .md, .ft or whatever without the second stop of having to lop off the .txt

Re: A few data entry problems

Are you seeing this behaviour consistently with this file, even after you quit and re-open? - Is it consistent behaviour, or does it seem to take some time to re-occur? - If you start a new timeline file, does the problem re-occur there also? Yes. Yes. And, Yes. What Mac OS version are you using? 1...

Re: A few data entry problems

Out of interest, what date format do you have it set to? Well, I'm seeing the problem no matter the format set (Day/Month or Month/Day) for values < 12 that would be valid in either format. In fact Aeon seems to be confused as to which format is set. https://img.skitch.com/20120602-8yxjxbignqq311g2...

A few data entry problems

This is regarding the version 1.0 demo downloaded today. A few problems entering dates. Here, the cursor won't go in the year field - either by tabbing, or clicking into the field, or using the right arrow. It seems if I close the entry panel and wait a bit, then I can edit year. But if I change it ...

Simplenote Sync "hang"?

When I choose File > Sync > With Simplenote the "Getting Simplenote Files" panel opens with a frozen progress bar and stops. Need always to proceed to Change Settings, enter the password, and go forward from there. The password is never kept ("Remember in keychain" is not remembe...

Re: Update Collection from Index Card overwrites source file

Hmm... That's a good point. The .indexcard file format doesn't currently support notes, so Scrivener has now way of grabbing them. That's something I'll need to take up with Dennis, the Index Card creator. Well, respectfully, the .indexcard format does support notes (key: notes, string: note conten...

In Index Card on the iPad the Notes are on the back of the card (flip over the card).

Update Collection from Index Card overwrites source file

Scrivener 2.0.2 An Index Card file (.indexcard) can contain a synopsis element (front of card), title element (name of card), and notes element (back of card). If the synchronization option to "Update Collection from Index Card File" is chosen the notes elements in the original .indexcard ...

"Open with..." in context menu

To annotate PDFs I use Acrobat, Skim and Preview at various times because of features I find useful in each. I usually have many PDFs in the Research section, and would like to be able to chose the PDF tool of my choice on the fly. So, I suggest an "Open with..." option in the right-click ...

Re: Scrivener Wiki

The "Scrivener FAQ" link on the wiki is returning some manner of wiki-babel. Perhaps it has been hacked.
