Intermittent issue pasting an image in the editor

Hi This is on Win 10 using Scriv for Windows 1.9.7.0 I am currently using Scriv to build a Technical manual - so it uses lots of screenshots etc. Most of these images reside either in MS-Word docs, or as stand-along image files (jpg, png, gif etc). Regardless (or so it seems) of how I "copy&quo...

Re: Scrivener aggravating in high resolution (3200x1800)

Hi,

Has this been addressed yet does anyone know.

I have a Samsung ultrabook - also 3200x1800 sceen resolution - and it is annoying when some areas are very scrunched and others are fine.

Even the dialogs when starting Scriv, or updating Scriv etc are almost unusable

Re: Codes for compiler

The codes are exclusive to Scrivener - they won't mean anything to anything else; only Scrivener looks for them.

Re: "Import" of text file onto canvas

It was a simple ".txt" file with 4 or 5 records - I have attached it below:

"Import" of text file onto canvas

Running on Windows 7 - If you "drag" a text file from Windows Explorer onto the canvas you get this pop-up: Capture2.JPG If you check the "Split into multiple........" box, and remove the paragraph marks so the white box is empty, Scapple goes unresponsive for a few seconds and t...

Re: Create children in the binder

Thanks for all your "constructive" comments :-p

No good deed goes unpunished ...... sigh.

Just imagine what my soon-to-be published sex manual reads like - where I'm supposed to be writing about actual sex!

Re: Create children in the binder

Ha Ha - first time I've been accused of potential German double entendre-ism (and I have no idea how that translates)!

Re: Create children in the binder

Actually the other way (using keyboard shortcuts) is to do as before and create a sibling and then just use CTRL+right arrow to make it a child - or left arrow to to "promote" it.

Re: Keyboard shortcut for lists

Nope - has to be done via menu or toolbar. No idea if they are considering that for the future.

Re: Create children in the binder

If I understand you you want a child / children added to a "text" file? If so you can just "enter" to create a sibling. Then drag that over the "text" file you want to turn into a parent. It then becomes a child. When you select a child it behaves as you expect, i.e. En...
