Re: How customize these user interface elements' colors?

Under NSComponents and NSRGB. They're base64 encoded.

Re: Mouse wheel scrolls too much in Outliner

I'm pretty sure it's a bug because like I said scrolling in other panes of the interface works well.

Did you find a setting in the theme files for outliner scroll speed? I looked in the .prefs file but didn't see one.

Or do you mean using CSS scrolling in the .qss file?

Re: How customize these user interface elements' colors?

It looks like there are two colors there:

0.9998890162 1 0.999830246
and
1 0.9999879003 0.9999921918 1

However, they are both basically white (multiply each by 255 to get normal RGBA values).

Re: How customize these user interface elements' colors?

I used WinRar which worked like a charm. It's a Zip/Rar archive utility and can also open most other archive types in general. Yep, that's what I'm doing. I'm going to learn those 4 files' syntax with a little bit of google's help. BTW, in the .pal file, I was able to change the color of the Binder...

Mouse wheel scrolls too much in Outliner

Mouse-wheel scroll works well in binder and in documents (and in other programs), so I can't just change the system setting. In Outliner mode, it actually scrolls more than page up and down do (which I've just noticed works inconsistently).

Quick Search behavior

In quick search (Ctrl-Shift-G), searching for something like CGI will only find instances where there's a visible character after the "I", to get CGI on it's own, I need to add a space after CGI. The normal full project search and find both correctly locate the word.

Re: Text underline too dark in dark mode

Thanks, I didn't think to look there. I now wonder if there's an option to change the default comment color somewhere that I'm missing.

Text underline too dark in dark mode

There's no option to change the red color of the underline for spelling errors, which means it's very hard to see in dark mode.

Re: Document move not reflected in Scrivenings mode

Thanks for the tip Jim. I tried it and it's still not updated. So even with the editor unlocked, nothing is updating when moving documents, which given what Katherine said would imply this is a bug.

Font bug?

Just noticed this happening when I click on and then away from the text. In addition to the format you can see on the bar, it's also smallcaps. Re: Grateful for the good news

Sometimes projects take longer than expected. Complaining isn't going to help. It's not like they're slacking off. They're constantly working on fixing bugs. There are still lots of little bugs, so it might be a while until it's released. That's fine. It's better than rushing something out. In the m...

Styles not copied when moving documents between projects

Create a custom style in project 1. Apply this to some text in a document in project 1. Drag that document from project 1 to project 2. That text no longer has the style applied to it (it keeps the formatting, but not the style). That means you can no longer do things like find by style or globally ...

Re: Document move not reflected in Scrivenings mode

But having the editor locked is the only way to move an item without changing what's open in the binder. Doesn't the Mac version automatically update it?

Document move not reflected in Scrivenings mode

Create some documents in draft.

Click draft to open in an editor.

Switch to scrivenings mode for that editor.

Lock editor.

Move a document up or down in binder.

Result: editor still shows the old order of documents.
