Re: iPad air, mini or pro?

hi portiadcosta, many thanks for your response. so I guess it's a quiet mechanical keyboard then. Can one use the keyboard for other iOS devices or is it strictly an accessory to an iPad pro 12.9? I will contact razor for other needs, but many thanks for your response! I think I read somewhere that...

Re: iPad air, mini or pro?

Hi! No, the Razer keyboard isn't particularly loud. Bit of a clickety click, but not deafening. Wouldn't say it was much, if any louder than a Macbook. A different sort of sound. No idea whether taking the keys off invalidates the warranty. At a guess, I say probably. There's nothing in the document...

Re: iPad air, mini or pro?

Sadly, I think I'm going to have to return the Razer keyboard. :( The key action is wonderful, but the keyboard layout issues are just too much for me. The positioning of the navigation keys in relation to the right hand shift key is just too awkward for my hands and even after just a short typing s...

Re: iPad air, mini or pro?

I've just got the Razer keyboard. I'm still assessing it, but I think when I get used to it, I'll like it. It's got that definite mechanical click and the action seems nice and light. Some slight differences to the standard keyboard layout, but I'm sure I'll adjust to them. I'll report back further ...

Does this still apply if you already have the font in your style in Sciv for iOS?

Thanks!

Re: Exporting "styles" created in MAC OS version to IOS

Many thanks, Roger! That's just what I needed to know. At the moment I'd just like to import my very simple 'working' style into Scriv for iOS, but that's a good point about 2 versions of a style. Might implement that myself in future. I'm really just starting to learn the power of Scrivener, after ...

Re: Exporting "styles" created in MAC OS version to IOS

Thanks! :) If you go into the Tutorial project, under “The Editor”, and search for “Formatting Presets/Styles”, you’ll find instructions on how to do this. Hi! Should I put the presets.plist file in my 'Scrivener Projects' folder on Dropbox, which is the one I'm using for syncing purposes? Many tha...

Re: Scrivener crashing on iPad

Thank you so much for your replies. I deleted it, re-downloaded it and that did the trick. It synced perfectly with my dropbox! So excited to have it on my iPad so I can work on it when my ideas come to me. So glad you got it working. Now I can update my iOS with confidence and know that there's a ...

Re: Scrivener crashing on iPad

Thanks, lunk! I do have Scrivener on my iPad Pro, but I've not yet updated the iOS to to 9.3.3. Are you using 9.3.3? I'm loving Scrivener for iOS, and have not had a single problem. I should probably just bite the bullet and upgrade the iOS on the Pro. Judging by what happened with the iPad mini, an...

Re: Scrivener crashing on iPad

Hi! I don't know if this will be helpful, but as a test, I downloaded Scrivener iOS to my original iPad Mini, which I had already upgraded to ios 9.3.3. Scrivener opened, but crashed when I tried to sync to Dropbox. I then exited the app, and closed all other apps, and tried again. Scrivener crashed...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

I'd been checking the app store, and not seeing it. But then I followed a link from MacRumors on Twitter and got the app store link from there. Have just done a mini mini trial. Able to link to my Scrivener projects file okay on Dropbox. Made a few changes in a project on iScriv, then went to same p...
