Re: Tiny wish: Evernote drag-n-drop behaviour

Thanks, that makes sense. I'll keep using my workaround for now. I completely agree that Scrivener compatibility should be the top priority, I'm just usually moving from EverNote -> Scapple -> Scrivener rather than the other way. I guess the same behaviour for a Scrivener document would be nice, i.e...

Re: Tiny wish: Evernote drag-n-drop behaviour

Thanks for the quick response! 1) The idea of automatically recognizing links dropped into Scapple is a nice one. I understand what you mean about some users maybe not wanting it for printing purposes. Maybe it could be toggled in preferences so users aren't locked in? 2) Following your suggestions,...

Tiny wish: Evernote drag-n-drop behaviour

I love Scapple and I really, really want to use it to map out clusters of ideas gathered from notes in Evernote. Currently, if I drag an Evernote note into Scapple, it shows as a note containing the Evernote http link in plain text - not that useful. If I drag the same note into Scrivener, I get an ...

Re: Scapple and other platforms (iOS, Windows etc)

I know this is not usually discussed as a "platform" in these forums, but it seems to me that Scapple would function very well as a web-based app, or at least would benefit from being able to export or exchange file formats with a web-based tool with similar features. After a little scouti...

Images hide dotted lines - possible bug or intended feature?

Hello again, I was recently attempting to find a homegrown solution to add enclosing shapes to groups of ideas, by simply importing in simple PNG shapes with a clear layer fill. This works well in that the background colour still shows through if the shape is sent to back. However it still covers th...

Re: Printout on more than one sheet

@enrico, xiamenese: I also wanted to print out a large map. Did a quick Google search on this and successfully tested out two options you can use, both fairly simple (I'm working with OSX 10.7.5): Solution 1: Use PosteRazor, a handy little open source app: (http://posterazor.sourceforge.net/): &sdot...

Feature Suggestion: Selection based on Find tool [edited]

First of all, fantastic application! I've been waiting for a non-hierarchical mapping tool for over a year now, and am delighted it is coming from L&L. Looking forward to buying it. Coming to the beta at this later stage, I have not yet come across any bugs yet, but I do have a couple of small f...
