Re: Will Aeon Timeline 2 permanently modify Scrivener?

Thanks for the feedback!
I don't know how to work with the Custom Metadata, but I can learn how if the time comes that I need to. Hopefully I won't need to! That is, if I can get the hang of Aeon Timeline and it turns out to be something that will help me.

Thanks,
Mark

Will Aeon Timeline 2 permanently modify Scrivener?

I've posted a similar question in the Aeon Timeline forum, but the Scrivener forum is more active and may be a better place to ask this. I'd like to demo Aeon Timeline 2 and use the Sync feature to pass data back and forth between it and Scrivener. My only question is this: if I decide that the prod...

Scrapple wish list item

I've been using Scrapple ever since it was in beta and it does everything that I need. If I were to dream of just one thing that I wished it did, it would be this: The little boxes and connecting lines are perfect for organizing my items, but the more I use this, the more info I'm finding myself add...

Re: New PC - Scrivener says that project is incompatible

Okay, here's what was happening - in case someone else runs into this situation. You'd suggested opening a local copy rather than my SkyDrive copy, so that's what I did and that worked. But it just seemed like I was doing something wrong... So, I spent a couple of hours researching this and what I f...

Re: New PC - Scrivener says that project is incompatible

Thanks for the fast response :-)

Okay, the version file had 16 in it already.

Any other tricks I can try?

Thanks,
Mark

New PC - Scrivener says that project is incompatible

I've just set up a new PC and loaded Scrivener and when I try to open either of my existing projects, I receive a message saying that the projects are incompatible with this version of Scrivener. I use Skydrive to access my projects between my old home PC (Windows 7) and my laptop (Windows 8.1). My ...

I didn't uninstall the beta, yet I seem to be okay

I was so excited about the final release, that I didn't even see the recommendation to uninstall the beta, yet everything seems fine. I didn't have the problem with the icon on the desktop - it appeared. So far, so good, but I've started to wonder if I really ought to uninstall the whole thing and s...

Jumped to 0.9.0.1 - release version must be close!

No real bug reports because I haven't had much of a chance to road test it yet, but I was surprised at the version jump coming so close to 1.x 8)

Anyway, from the time that I have spent with it, I've decided that I can't live without it. Nice work!

Re: Scapple themes

I'll second that request for the chalkboard background. That super-tasty chalkboard background on the Scrapple for Mac page (under Rough It Out) makes me long for such a option in the windows beta and final version. Overall, I'm loving the Windows beta version and will definitely buy it, regardless ...

Okay to run two instances at one time?

I've accidentally opened two copies of Scrivener at the same time (two different projects), and have immediately closed one, thinking that it probably was a bad thing to do. But lately, I've wondered if maybe that just wasn't true? Is there any reason why this wouldn't work? There are lots of other ...

Wishes: Toolbar and more font editing options

I've been using the beta version for a few days now and have decided that it's just what I need for mapping out my characters and their various associations. I haven't run into any bugs yet, so that's good. I do wish that it had a toolbar - that would make editing much easier. Plus, the basic font o...
