Re: Scapple Beta - New Users Please Read

I see what you're saying, of course because it's totally freeform there is no guarantee that nodes are linked, there could just be a hundred items on the page with no links. For the long finger then, there _might_ be some possibility to have a third mode? graph traversal mode could follow links betw...

Re: Scapple Beta - New Users Please Read

Okay, thanks! I'm not sure what use case you have in mind for the arrows in that case - it looks like it would be a bit hit or miss, kind of frustrating, to find a node in a scapple with the arrows. And yet it is tantalizingly appealing to imagine flying around making edits without resorting to the ...

Re: Scapple Beta - New Users Please Read

Hi Keith, can you point me to any info on how the arrow keys are supposed to behave when you are in "Selection Mode"? I'm hoping there's a way to "walk the graph" with keys but it seems to be almost random which node it hops to (could be creation stamp time or something, haven't ...

Re: Scapple - New Beta Available (Updated 29/10/12)

Using Build 2699 - i allowed install and relaunch so that should be up to date, no? By rubberbanding i meant if i mousedown and drag to form a rubberbanded selection rectangle (to select a group of nodes). I see what you mean you can drag a line, hadn't realized that could be done before for some re...

Re: Scapple - New Beta Available (Updated 29/10/12)

Seems to be a bug where instead of rubber banding you end up moving some pair of nodes...I imagine you'll find this yourself in regular use. Sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't - you can repeat the same mousedown and move and sometimes you're rubberbanding sometimes you're moving two nodes con...

Re: Scapple Beta (Download Here)

Very, very nice. I have been using it for several days now, no crashes.

I hope it stays minimal - looks really lovely fullscreen. That said, there are occasions where a picture is worth the proverbial thousand words - any thoughts on adding images? dead-set against or a possible addition?
