Scrivener Windows a different format than Scrivener Mac?

After setting up Scrivener on my windows PC I came to discover that some of the formatting was different such as the font style which was originally Cochin on my Mac but changed to Arial on Windows, it doesn't appear that I can even select Cochin from the drop down menu in Windows Scrivener. After d...

Re: Looking for step by step help to sync Scrivener!

I wouldn't say that using the flash drive is "problematic." Scrivener doesn't care one way or the other. It's just that, with synchronization, you have software in the background making sure that the project on Computer A exactly matches the copy of the project on the server. With a flash...

Re: Looking for step by step help to sync Scrivener!

Using a flash drive is not true synchronization: you'll be transferring a complete copy of the project, and it will be up to you to keep track of which version is current. Re: Looking for step by step help to sync Scrivener!

Please do this: * Create a brand new project on the Mac with a couple of text files. Save it in the Dropbox folder. * Allow Dropbox to sync. Login to your account at dropbox.com. Is the project there? * If so, allow the Windows machine to synchronize. Does the project appear? If so, add a few lines...

Difficulty getting Mac Scrivener dropbox file synced to iOS Scrivener, help!

My outdated Macbook Pro was my primary tool of writing using Scrivener, after being unable to use Dropbox on that Macbook due to it being so old and unable to update to the newest usable version of Dropbox I figured it was time for a change, I copied my .Scriv file to a flash drive and got a chromeb...

Re: Two projects open at once, can't find second?

Where did the new template come from, and how did you open it? Was it a Mail attachment for example? This is the template I used from K.M. Weiland's website: http://www.helpingwritersbecomeauthors.com/resources/scrivener-template-for-outlining-and-structuring-your-novel/# which I just downloaded, o...

Two projects open at once, can't find second?

My main project is essentially always open on my Mac and never closed, I came across a very nice Outlining template by an author and opened it up and was pleased to see that I could have both projects open at the same time so I could transfer the appropriate content to the outline project template. ...

Re: Scrivener Windows Trial - all progress erased?

Scrivener Windows Trial - all progress erased?

After recently enjoying the versatility of the scrivener trial I was just on the verge of continuing my writing, however when I clicked one of my articles all of the content was gone, subsequent clicks revealed all other articles to have suffered the same fate, however I had 1 article remaining with...
