Re: SCRIVENER FOR LINUX 1.5.3.1 BETA RELEASED (*LATEST*)

Check if there is MultiArch support also. It is even better than ia32 (which will be deprecated if MultiArch is enabled anyway)

Re: Ready for production use?

I use it daily too, in production, on Debian Sid 64bits (with MultiArch), and I have around 2 millions characters (3 novels and some short stories) handled by it. I don't use Scratch pads for now, and I have no problem fort import/export. For export, apart of .doc or .rtf when asked for, I usually e...

Re: 1.5.0.6 LINUX Beta Released

You can try to install MultiArch. Like this, your system will be able to install i386 libraries needed.
I have done this a while ago, and now I don't have any more troubles for 32Bits dependancies

Re: Font size change in .epub

I have some feedback from other readers : on Ibook, they can zoom in/out with no trouble with the default reader. But with Stanza, when they zoom in, it increase the interline but not the font size.

Font size change in .epub

I have made some compile to epub format and, even it seems alright to me (I checked with Calibre), some readers told me that they can't change the size of the font on their tablet. For now, I have such problems at least with people reading on Android, MyLibrary on Asus Transformer. I can send the fi...

Re: Organizing a world

As I have many characters (and it grows regularly), I will have quickly a huge list of Collections, based upon keyword saved searches with the character's name.
Is there a way to have the list of collections automatically organized in an alphabetical way or should I do it manually ?

Thanks for the (quick) reply. I always have the inspector open, as you say, not to loose my way.
Good luck to solve the tricks :)

Group view with titles

Hello,
I have my folder containing the novel, and each section in it is a chapter with a particular title. Can I see them in the scrivening mode, each chapter beginning with its title ?

Re: Organizing a world

Thanks a lot for the advice. I have put my General information folder on top, then my writing stuff, in sub-categories for novels, songs and/or short texts.
Everything is well organized like this :D

Re: Organizing a world

Thanks for your answers. I have started to use Keywords for places and characters for collections. I would have been interested to add a simple text for each Collection, as I create one for each important character, and would like to have its descripting sheet as first page of the Collection (and ph...

Organizing a world

Hello, I am very happy to have been able ton install successfully Scrivener on my GNU/Linux computer, as it seems to me it is exactly what I was looking for (even if I am a bit jealous of the features of Mac Version  ). I am working on a serie of crime stories during crusades, two of them alre...

GNU/Linux version ?

Hi,
is there will be a GNU/Linux version of Aeon Timeline ? Even it is not yet embedded in Scrivener, as it is for the Mac version, it would be already great to be able to use it on this platform.
