Re: Opening Large File Errors

I am interested in this thread. I have similar issues related to hanging, "not responding" and such. My Projects are between a few kb to 1 GB and most of the time anything above a few MB Scrivener hangs. The PC/Windows 64 Bit, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, NVidia Graphics Card and two monitors. (and t...

Re: A question about voice control.

Ok - I am little confused. Dragon Natural Speaking (v12) works in Scrivener at least for basic prose dictation. I admit I still have not tried to use it with Screenplay formats as I am not exactly sure how that would work.

These the things that me go hhhhhmmmm. :|

thanks in advance.

Template Topic Posting

Hello All, especially Scrivener Staff and Dev Team, Executive Summary: It would be nice (and very helpful) to see a Topic Category or Forum for User Templates created. For example, "The Writers Notebook Template", the David Hewson Templates, and so on. Discussion : I want to like to partic...

Re: Scrivener Tutors?

First and foremost thank you for the time and labor to reply and share your brilliance. You are correct on the less than a paragraph for a file/document could become extremely unwieldy. I do have a few good individual and multiple sentences that can be a part of sub-document, until the paragraph is ...

Re: Scrivener Tutors?

Correct is NOT the word for it, try uncanny, you explained better than I can, and it's my dealy-bob-issues. That being said, yes, everything you said. I am using Aeon Timeline (a little-yes I bought it), and, I am waiting on v2 Windows Scrivener. So as I understand I have the option to print or not ...

Re: Scrivener Tutors?

You guys are so funny. and the best! Okay here is one work flow issue - maybe off topic - the title of the file (and sub-files?) is printed or not printed in compiled draft (or view mode, not displayed) version/printable version. Therein if I wanted to do so, I could literally make every file with a...

Re: Scrivener Tutors?

This is all good, thank you. I will follow-through with each and every suggestion. My reasoning for tutorial is that I have read much of the various books and videos, though I must admit, I most probably should give everything a 2nd and 3rd read. My largest issue is there a variety of tweaks and fea...

Re: AEON TIMELINE and Scrivener/Windows (version 2.0 to come)

call it a request/encouragement. can't wait for scrivener/aeon timeline meta-data integration. Those of us (my experience with aeon forum boards-three or four person aeon users) that use aeon and scrivener love the export then import to scrivener from aeon, but look forward to version scrivener and ...

One citation accounts for 111 meanings for the acronym "NS"

Please advise.

And thank you for your kind words, as you can see I am trying to stay cool in the midst of ill-mannered children.
