External configuration file for Scivener 1's UI colors? (Windows)

I guess what I am asking is could it be done? I believe Scrivener for Windows is based on Qt? Maybe there's a way to style it's widgets colors? So far I've managed to achieve a semi-dark mode through Tools->Options->Appearance as seen here: https://imgur.com/a/DSAHyC4 It's far from ideal, and I know...

[SUGGESTION] Learn Spelling to custom dictionaries

I am a literary translator from English into Bulgarian and an occasional writer, As a translator, I often have to deal with large bodies of non-standard and just crazy words such as character and geographical names, SF&F and technical terms, made up or real dialects, and so on. Different project...

Re: Who want a Linux release version?

I think buying (or subscribing to) Scrivener for Linux sounds acceptable. After all, it's a dedicated software for writers. I work quite a lot with LibreOffice, and I am happy with it. As a day job, I do literary translations on LibreOffice. I wrote my first novel and I am currently writing my secon...

Re: Scrivener 1.7.2.3 Linux beta released 22nd July 2014

cellfourteen - I'm nothing to do with the scriviner team and am in fact very new to scrivener but I've tried looking at your problem and unfortunately not found any solution :-( I can agree that if I apply a Bulgarian keymap to my UK keyboard (in my case it's MATE desktop) then keystrokes such as C...

Re: Scrivener 1.7.2.3 Linux beta released 22nd July 2014

Installed perfectly on Kubuntu 14.04. I would like to ask for some help or an insight for an inconvenience that I am having with Scrivener 1.7.2.3. When I use Scrivener with English (US) keyboard layout, all keyboard shortcuts work fine. When I use Scrivener with Bulgarian (BG, Cyrillic, BDS) keyboa...

Re: 1.2.5 Scrivener for Linux RELEASED

The lsof commands didn't give me any output at all. And I can't see a package named libkdecore, or one named libkdeui in Yast, installed or otherwise. Are these files unique to 4.9? glaedr, would you be so kind to run the following commands and post the results? First, trace out what's happening wh...

Re: 1.2.5 Scrivener for Linux RELEASED

This could be a fix for some people, so I may as well report it (by the way, I started digging after upgrading to the new KDE 4.9). Regarding me@netbook:~$ /usr/bin/Scrivener Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x40801) with this library (version 0x40800) Aborted (core dumped) I started Scri...

Re: 1.2.5 Scrivener for Linux RELEASED

Okay...if the script starting scrivener is causing other similar errors, what happens if you don't use it? that is, start Scrivener directly? Running directly Scrivener causes it to abort in the same manner when I try to open a project (cd /usr/share/scrivener/bin/; ./Scrivener | /usr/share/scriven...

Re: 1.2.5 Scrivener for Linux RELEASED

Hi, technatica, garpu. Scrivener's startup script sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH to /usr/share/scrivener/lib Nothing, as long as I see, in ~/.bashrc , ~/.profile or /etc/ld.so.conf I also tried the "unset QT_PLUGIN_PATH" suggestion from here: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3...
