Re: In what universe is Scrivener 3 compile simpler than in Scrivener 2?

I learnt it from the 4 part video tutorial about compilation on YouTube in a list created for Scrivener 3 by LiteratureandLatte. There are 4 videos, exclusively about compilation (given that it's so changed and so much more capable now) Here's the FULL list. Scroll down on the right to get the 4 tut...

Re: Caution: Compliment! .... (Corkboard Timeline Keywords)

Unnghhh! Sorry for being so dense.... but can you please (pretty please) explain with pics how you got it timeline based cards by keywords instead of labels? It'd be very helpful!

Cheers!

Re: In what universe is Scrivener 3 compile simpler than in Scrivener 2?

It would be cool if you could upload a couple pics and describe "exactly" what you are looking for? I, for one, am finding the Scriv 3 compile far better than Scriv 2 (but don't let that fool you -- i was ready to tear my hair out in frustration, until I read, in detail, the compilation pr...

Sub-document Counts - in Corkboard! - on Index Cards!!

Yes. the Binder. Shows counts of subdocs. Awesome. But, is it possible, that we can have a count shown in the INDEX CARD in the corkboard view? (It already shows whether the index card is a folder or a document). Useful for a person like me, who plans scripts and novels visually. Thanks and Cheers!

Re: Adding document counts to folder type -- In Corkboard view!

Thanks for the second one.

As for the first, I am sure it's a feature that's not yet been built in.

Let's hope KB sees this post and decides to think about it. (Keith, if you're reading this, *waves*)

Cheers!

Adding document counts to folder type -- In Corkboard view!

Hello Everyone, Upgraded to v3. Using latest 3.0.3 Here's a question (actually 2): 1. In the screenshot below, you can see that my first item in the binder titled "beginning image" is a folder and others items in the binder are documents. Additionally, my first item which is a folder, has ...

Re: I want chapter titles on same page as document text. Can't make it happen.

Do this: 1. Open the Compile Screen. 2. Select the "COMPILE FOR: " option on the very top (Print, PDF, Docx, etc...) 3. See what happens on the left? As you select COMPILE FOR options, the options on the LEFT change. 4. Good. Select one option on the left (single click with mouse. It is no...

Re: Floating the Editor Window

In other words, I'm to assume it's not possible.

Not an answer I had hoped to hear, but I guess if that's what it is, then that's what it is.

Unless . . . someone has the actual answer, not a workaround.

Thanks.

Floating the Editor Window

As if, you guys are not already inundated with genuine issues, I come along with something that could probably have been figured out had I read the manual or seen the videos . . . but then again, I apologize in advance. The point here is that I wish to make the Editor window Float. Not go in to the ...

Re: Red, dotted lines under words although autocorrection is turned off

Just a guess ... you may be writing in US English, but have the spell checker is UK English. Autocorrection, I would also suppose, would mean automatically changing "teh" to "the", rather than doing a spell check. You may need to disable check spelling, instead of autocorrect. Ju...

Inline annotations getting compiled as new scene

Here's what I am doing: 1. Putting inline annotation as a separate line (see: Describe Vikas Jain in a paragraph with his summary background) 1. Inline Annotations.jpg 2. Compiling with Remove Comments and Remove Annotations options 'On' 2. Compile options.jpg 3. But the PDF (or print) considers the...
