Re: Lost formatting when importing document from Word

Did you try Document (menu), Convert, Formatting to Default Style? (Will work on a selection, I believe.)

Re: Further tweaking compile settings

Refer to this thread: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=17871 See the section on Automatic Numbering (which suggests the <$t> tag uses the computer's language settings). If it doesn't consider the computer's language or you aren't running in Portuguese, you could consi...

Re: Create placeholders for character names, places, etc.

Definite agreement with Robert and Pigfender. My MC has the name he introduces himself with, but different characters address him differently (at least 8 variants), and how characters address him may change over time--as they become more familiar, they may use a more familiar name. Same is true for ...

Re: Is there an revision mode for windows version

Are there windows specific videos? Not that I've ever seen. There might be some videos of people using the Windows version floating around YouTube, Vimeo, and the like. Will there be a revision mode in windows? Probably. http://literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=20336&p=136856...

Re: Importing and splitting Document from OO

What shass said. Note that Ctrl+K is split (everything on or below the current line goes into a new text below the current text) and Ctrl+Shift+K is split with selection as title (splits, but whatever is selected appears in the new text and is copied as the title of the new text). Splitting is gener...

Re: Remove Space Before Line Break

Just noticed another interesting oddness. I turned on "show invisibles" in my test file. On a line that has a space before the line break, there is no paragraph symbol at the end. If I delete the space, the paragraph symbol appears. Add the space back, it reappears. Something weird going o...

Remove Space Before Line Break

Problem: There seems to be no way to automatically replace spaces before a line break (aka paragraph break, enter, carriage return). So to clean up lines like: This is a test.<space><line break> I have to manually go to the end of every paragraph. In every text file. This situation can happen due to...

Character Count counts line breaks

Hope I'm doing this right. This seems to be a bug. Problem: Enter the following text into a new text. 12345 12345 12345 Character count should be 15, but character count will be 17 or 18 depending on whether or not you hit Enter after line 3. This suggests character count is counting line breaks as ...
