In version 2.0, I could have 2 or more projects open at the same time and then search across the open projects. I did it all the time, day after day, week after week, and it was a tremendously useful feature saving me hours of work. Something has changed, perhaps my settings, and I can no longer do ...
With diabetes and eyesight issues, I have trouble seeing the small icons and pop up windows at the bottom of the screen. It's great that the text can be scaled up and down and that works perfectly, but sometimes working with the smaller popup windows is challenging. BUT...in looking around this morn...
It's a small thing, but would it be possible to show all of the optional screen sizings when the "Text Scale" window pops up, i.e. the whole range from 50% to 800% no matter what the current sizing is at the time? Right now it only seems to display the current setting and anything higher. ...
I found out how to increase the font size for the main toolbar with it's icons (though it would help if the font size were a little larger still). Is there a way to increase the font size on the line which displays the binder, collections, available font styles, text alignment, spacing etc? And whil...
There are a couple of tools that I've found helpful in learning the Scrivener shortcuts. One is Dashkards and the other KeyCue. Both will pop up a helpful list of Scrivener shortcuts. Dashkards works with Dashboard. KeyCue works across a variety of apps. http://dashkards.com/ http://www.ergonis.com/...
Couldn't remember it for the first post but KeyCue is another program which lists keyboard shortcuts across most apps. It's shareware but very powerful and also a good learning tool.
I'd like to be able to search through multiple open projects at the same time looking for a certain set of characters, words, or numbers. Is there any way to do that in Scrivener?"
It's been worth the wait. Scrivener was the first add-on product I purchased when I moved to the Macs. I love using it and wouldn't have a machine without it, that is except for one Windows machine that hasn't had the pleasure. Count me in for an upgrade on the Mac platform and a for a copy for the ...
Thank you Amber. Ran into this problem just this morning. For the first time tried saving a Scrivener file to DropBox and then continuing on at my office. Needless to say it didn't work. Your suggestion to back up the project to Dropbox as a zip file worked to perfection. I can open that file at the...
Scrivener was the second program I got when I switched to the Mac (Quicksilver was #1). I still use it every day and it's one of the few programs where I go back through the tutorials and help info. from time to time trying to learn more about the program. There are a whole lot of programs I can liv...
