Re: Scrivener and iPad (and iPhone?) workflow

One possible solution is Auteureist, an iphone app of which you may have read of in these forums, under the name of "scribbler"... the developer wanted an app that could partly replace Scriv on the iPhone, and he developed a sync app just for the mac, and the app itself can export your wri...

Re: Scrivener for iPad

I will support you in every decision Keith... I know how difficult is your work and surely I will prefer a wonderful 2.0 for OsX than a not-so-well done iPad version.
By the way, congratulations for your newly born child! :D :D :D

Re: Scribbler™ for iPhone -- Early Look

Well, it seems it's a problem shared with other developers, check the blog: http://auteureist.posterous.com/

I guess we will be able to download when the icon of the app is showing right, instead of the broken chain image :)

Re: Scrivener, Services, and Snow Leopard

I may need to add "Scrivener" to the names of the services now, which is annoying. Previously, they appeared in a "Scrivener" menu - I would have expected OS X to group them by program at least to make things easier. All the best, Keith I've just acctivated the services and noti...

Re: Cart Before The Horse

For me it could be a very very useful app, 'cause I'm a bit lazy about the characters... though I've now no idea of some specific features...
I'll let you know if I come up with something interesting...

Re: The status of the next update and 2.0

You've got my 20 Keith... I think now you're aware you shouldn't have even asked in the first place, right?
Scrivener is one of the best app ever coded on any paltform.
Period.

Ciao Keith!

Re: Aeon Timeline Version 0.1.2 (Beta)

Downloaded beta 0.1.2 and it seems that the print/pdf bug is still in place... I'm on a macbook pro 2.33 ghz and Leopard 10.5.5.
Other than that it seems that my needs are very basic at the moment, so I didn't stress the app enough :)

Very good work Matt for a .1.2 release.

Ciao, Andrea

Re: (Not) Thinking About Dates

Create a bunch of events with a bunch of constraints, and get the software to automatically resolve the events to suitable dates as you drag other events around the timeline. I'm not a programmer, but in terms of logic it should be like adding a specified unit of measure (hours, days, weeks, months...

Re: Question regarding multiple chapter drafts

I'm just an "hobbyist" writer, writing down just bits and pieces, always beginning and never ending things. So, maybe I'm not the right one to address this, but that's my two cents. First I number the chapters, not giving them titles, so it's chapter 1, chapter 2... then , if I go for a se...

Re: Aeon Timeline Version 0.1 (Beta)

Great application! Very promising. A glitch I haven't seen mentioned: I can move events along the timeline, but they do not change their order. Got this too... changed two dates by dragging the events: the dates changed accordingly but the captions remained in the initial order. Tonight I closed my...

Re: Aeon Timeline Version 0.1 (Beta)

Beginned to play with the beta, and having read the known issue I spent 10 minutes trying to set the correct start date (it figures!)... but I'm stubborn and finally I set the correct date, and right now it works without problem (if not some minor UI glitches, but is something I have to pay more att...
