RC4, Composition Mode, Unchecking "Override text color with color" does nothing

Did a quick search, couldn't find this in the beta forum. Sorry if I've missed it. Going to Options > Appearance > Composition Mode > Colors > Text and unchecking Override text color with color seems to have no effect for me? Tried clicking Apply and OK, then restarting Scrivener, still no change.

It is within weeks - just more weeks than we expected

 I like your positive attitude!

Me, I don't mind how long it takes, cos we're getting it free in the meantime. :)

Re: Release on Aug 30 confirmed?

It's a no-win. Release the software for sale before it's ready and people will complain that you shouldn't release such buggy software. Wait until the bugs are ironed out and that's no good either, it took too long. Didn't Hemingway shoot himself because the new version of his preferred typewriter w...

[LH3869] RC1. Composition Mode Backdrop not remembered after closing/re-opening a project

LOVE RC1! Could be my slow-ass computer with its dodgy RAM, but I can't get Scrivener 3 to remember that I've chosen a background image from my PC for use in Composition mode. 1. Project > Project Settings > Background Images > Choose from disk > [Select an image] > OK. 2. Hit F11 to enter Compositi...

Re: Thanks for the update regarding release!

Is there perchance an RSS feed for the blog ? I must be subscribed to an old RSS feed in my Feedly, because that thing hasn't updated in ages and I wasn't aware of the Windows news until I saw this thread. Any help? Also, just echoing what others have said: I'd rather have a great piece of software...

Re: Double Paragraph Breaks

I noticed this too, but figured the setting to eliminate that line break between paragraphs was hiding somewhere in a menu that I couldn't find.

Good to know it's not just me!

Maybe you ought to add a bold Relax, people, we never fail to release a new version in time for the current one's expiration to the Scrivener 3 Announcements post. :)

It expires on the 31st. Bit early for panic stations, methinks.

Eusorph wrote: or should I export my project back to standard Scrivener?

That's not possible. You can't convert a project from Scriv 3 back to Scriv 2. Another reason why the developers suggested not using 3 for any major projects.

Re: What's happening after January 31st?

I know, but Lit 'n' Latte did warn folks that the initial beta was more of an alpha and major projects probably shouldn't be converted just yet. Also I think compile isn't fully functional? Or maybe I'm out of date with that info. Could be a stumbling block depending on your project.

You like to live on the edge. Kind of a gutsy thing to do with the beta, Make sure you're keepin' backups!

Now I can't reproduce that problem in the top pic... Bah! So I'm gonna have to get back to you with more info if I can trigger it again. Sorry. :)
