Sadly, still crashes when trying to add files to the binder. Changing the language of the user-interface (e.g. to german) don't work for me, always stays in english. :cry: I am using Mint 13 - 32 bit

I installed the dictonary (german) in the way, that i copied the files from the aspell folder of the windows trial-version in the linux installation aspell directory and it works fine.

If you search the forum, you'll see that this is a known issue..many people suffer from this & this is the reason i don't use scrivener at the moment...the developement for linux seems to have stopped for a while (because this the software just expires in June 2013) until they are finished with ...

if the installation with <sudo apt-get install gdebi-gtk> worked, than i don't understand, why he can not locate it & you say that it open the program window too, this is strange. Gdebi-gtk opens with a greyed-out window, this is normal, but you should be able to select File->Open anyway. Try to...

Hi!

1. open a terminal.

2. write: sudo apt-get install gdebi-gtk

3. write: gdebi-gtk

4. in the application that open go to file->open and open the scrivener.deb file

5. press install

If it don't work, look what gdebi tell you about missing files

Uhuhuuuuuu! :)

After some time to find out the right libraries i got it running under Debian Wheezy 64 bit & Fluxbox :D
Finally! But nativ 64Bit support is really needed, because i think i fuck up my clean system ahahaha

Hi!

Where exactly i need to put this: unset QT_PLUGIN_PATH

Because Scrivener crashes all the time if i want import a picture in the research folder. I use it on
Ubuntu 12, 32-bit
