Re: Editor like Sigil

I'd like to edit HTML files (*.htm), and, I'm really wishing here, (so I might as well wish for some unicorns while I'm at it), I'd like to be able to edit both the HTML code, and have a WYSIWYG editor, like an email editor, that is HTML underneath, but shows me a WYSIWYG editor, and let's me edit H...

Editor like Sigil

I would love to have a split screen editor, like Sigil has in "split view", with a WYSIWYG editor on top, and HTML editor on bottom. So I can write, and format, my ebook at the same time. I'm finding writing and formatting go together, at least for technical books where formatting options,...

Re: How do I import .zip file from another Scrivener?

So after I unzip it, how do I tell Scrivener "Hey, this is my project over here, 'Become the Project' "?

How do I import .zip file from another Scrivener?

I have Scrivener on my desktop and laptop. How can I keep the two synced?

I see Scrivener makes a .zip backup file. If I copy that .zip file to the other computer, how do I get my Scrivener on the other computer to load it in?

External Editor?

Is there a way to configure an external editor? I noticed if I right-click on a *.html file I added to "Document References" it gives me a menu with options to: ⋅ Open in Current Editor ⋅ Open in Other Editor ⋅ Open in Default Editor which I initially thought ...

Drag files from Document References

I attach *.html files via "Document References" > "Look Up & Add External Reference". Would be nice if I could later on, drag that *.html file over to my HTML text editor and load it. Actually, I just discovered if I right-click I get a context menu with ⋅ Open in C...

Re: BEFORE POSTING...

I'm trying out Scrivener. I really like the "nonlinear" aspect of it. I agree with the methodology. I tend to write various scraps of my book in pieces. I needed some sort of program that would hold all my pieces and allow me to easily arrange them as I "grew" my book. I searched...

split page into subpages

New to Scrivener.
I have a page under Drafts. It's gotten big, so I'd like to split it into several subpages. What is the easiest fastest way to do that?

(I could do a whole bunch of create new subpages, then cut/paste from main page to subpages. Sounds tedious. Is there a faster easier way?)
