Cannot Update Scrivener: Runtime Error

I'm trying to update to the latest version of Scrivener however an error dialog comes up. It says that Scrivener is not running from the last installed location but the locations listed for the runtime and install are identical. I tried running it from the source shortcut but still it brings up this...

Re: Superhero novel, translated

Well if you notice, it says translated and it seems like by a free web translator like Google Translate. To be fair to the author, I cannot really comment on this other than to say I don't think translations via the free websites should be done. Just keep the material in it's native language and let...

Re: My feedback

You can check out the official list of differences between the Windows and Mac versions by clicking here . Keep in mind that Scrivener was available for 2 years on the Mac before the first Windows version was released. That kind of development time gap is very difficult close especially since develo...

Lee and Tiho continue to forge ahead with adding features to the Windows version. Actually, I do appreciate it, it is kinda fun,...

So far in the Windows version, the session is defined as the duration Scrivener is open, meaning it resets upon exit. While this may work fine for some, th...

Re: Scrivener in the cloud

I have to agree with Kieth on this one. There is really no reason for iCloud or any type of cloud support for Scrivener. The type of writing Scrivener was created for is not meant to be written across many devices. Just like the people requesting Scrivener for iPhone or Android phones.... why? Are y...

It's Getting There

As someone who knows almost nothing about the Beta testing world, I think I better wait until the Beta version becomes an official update to the 1.0.3. release. Having checked out the Mac version briefly, I immediately noticed the difference between the two platform versions. I primarily use the Win...
