Licensing

I've been contemplating getting a second Mac and I've been poking around for a little information on licensing Scrivener. I was wondering how many computers does one license of Scrivener for Mac cover? Would it be okay if I registered it to both my iMac and the MacBook I've been considering getting?

IRC Channel for Authors

I may be wrong but I believe promotion is okay here - at least in this forum; I know as an IRC user I'm forever looking for a good writing channel. Me and a friend have decided to start one on UnderNet. This writing group is for anything writing and you can definitely stray outside the topic guideli...

Re: Random Reactivation

Actually it is. Or I believe it would be classified as one. It has been activated since I got it. It just chooses random times to deactivate and reactivate itself.

Random Reactivation

I'm almost positive this has been posted before but I figured one more time couldn't hurt. Scrivener will choose random startups to tell me it hasn't been activated and contact the eSellerate servers again. It's not that it disables me from using the program, but after about 4 or 5 times it is quite...

Re: Focus Feature

Thank you very much Hugh! This method is even better than iAWriter's focus mode!

Focus Feature

I was taking a look at iA Writer (not that I could actually use it - I love Scrivener's content management) and I saw a feature that I think would really be awesome in Scrivener. It's called Focus Mode, and what it does is it grays out all other sentences, allowing the writer to focus very clearly o...

Re: How many fiction writers do we have here?

Mine isn't exactly the most captivating first few lines. It's from my current novel "Flight of the Raven". "The night was cold, and harsh as it rolled in over Splendopolis. At the famed Splendopolis Palazzo, a new out building had been erected; it was a much larger tactical planning h...

New Eloise Novels

While in hindsight I'm not exactly sure my first two books (more specifically my first book) that I've published are the best of my abilities, I'm currently working on a third that shall triumph over the both of them with ease; I owe plenty of thanks though, personally, to Scrivener. This third book...
