Re: [LH3948] Bug 2.9.0.22 beta, compile window disappears completely when reducing its size

However when using the default theme , the window seems to work as intended. It can be resized and you have access to the save/cancel buttons. This is true for me as well with Beta 30 and a screen that is 768px tall. I will continue to write using one of the other themes, but when I know i want to ...

Re: BETA 27. Bug? Layout window too big to use

@rwfrantz: For writing yes, for compiling and editing compile settings the screen height of 768px is not enough to fit all the options. I can get the compile window to fit (I can adjust the size of it). I can't get the editing compile settings window to fit (768px screen at 100%). I see 3 issues (B...

Re: Beta 30 - Edit Format window too large for screen, cannot save

Thank you, RW, but that still didn't work. I couldn't find where on my Windows 10 machine to change the DPI. I was able to work around it by plugging my computer into my television and utilizing that larger resolution screen. I think this is still a bug, I shouldn't have to do that to access a wind...

Beta 30 - Edit Format window too large for screen, cannot save

I have a laptop that runs a display resolution of 1366x768. When I go to Edit Format from the Compile window, the edit window is too tall. I have no way to access the Save button at the bottom of the window. I have tried various ways to have windows adjust the size/location of the window, but they h...

Re: Linux port?

It does work in Wine on Linux, but the drag and drop into and out of Scrivener doesn't work. (Not that I've been able to use)

Re: Problem with Print font size

Well, nothing I found actually changed the File-Print settings. But I did play a bit with Compile (something I hadn't had to do since I primarily use Scrivener to write and manage blog posts which only get printed for my revising and editing). In the playing around I found some compile settings to g...

Problem with Print font size

As I work on a document in Scrivener, I like to print it out for revising and editing. I don't go through the compile process, I just use File-print. It works fine in Linux except for the size of the font when printing: it is too large. When I print the same document using Wine and the Windows versi...

Re: 1.2.6 Scrivener for Linux RELEASED

Woohoo! I found something that worked. I took the lead from cellfourteen on page 3 of the thread on the 1.2.5 release. He mentioned running lsof while Scrivener was running (I saw it best when I was running Scrivener under Unity (I am on Ubuntu 12.04, but wanting to run under KDE)). It was wanting t...

Re: 1.2.5 Scrivener for Linux RELEASED

Joe, I'm using the deb version on Kubuntu (well Ubuntu with KDE). I tried your script and I'm still getting the incompatibility error message. I verified that QT_PLUGIN_PATH was unset and then restored, but it didn't seem to make any difference to the running of the program. I can still use the prog...

Re: 1.2.6 Scrivener for Linux RELEASED

Thank you for the fix. That part looks good. Unfortunately the incompatible qtlibrary problem with KDE on Kubuntu still exists.

So, Aaron, is this a setting us endusers can make someplace in the QT universe or is this only something the developer can change?

Re: 1.2.5 problem with RTF Reader

Thanks tiho_d. renaming rtfi did the trick! didn't think about trying that. I was trying to figure out all kinds of ways to get scrivener to find that file thinking the cut off error message was saying it couldn't find it.

1.2.5 problem with RTF Reader

I downloaded and installed the 1.2.5 beta. Ubuntu 12.04, 32 bit. Whenever I try to start the program I get a small part of an error window that starts RTF Re... /home/... After I click OK. Scrivener opens up but I can't read anything. When I click on a document in the binder, the editor screen ends ...
