Re: Changing computer

You should just download the latest version from the website, and input your license key. As far as I'm aware, individual user's licence keys didn't change (I think they worked with the new vendor to accept the old key codes). The latest versions of Scrivener and Scappel will check with the new lic...

Double spacing detection

Hello, is there the ability to reduce multi-spacing to single spacing in Scrivener for iOS as there is in the Mac version?
If there is not the option I think it would be an interesting addendum since “in the tiny iPad” can be challenging to be precise and spot the double spacing error.
Thank you!

Dropbox sync

Do you know if it is possible to switch to another app when Scrivener is syncing? To be more precise when the dropbox icon appears and is doing the syncing process?
Thank you!

Re: Special characters

Thank you! At last I understood how to call the screen keyboard... I tried and searched far and wide.

Special characters

Hello,
Do you know how I to type special characters (accented letters) using the Smart Keyboard. I have the Italian version, but I think there won’t be much difference.
Thank you,

Re: Quick Reference Windows

Yes, I use that as well, but the "quick reference window" floats only on top of scrivener, not on top of other apps, such as safari. Thanks for the shortcut, it seems to be standard. Windows > Float Quick Reference Panels works for me — there's a shortcut (cmd-opt-ctl-q) but I can't rememb...

Quick Reference Windows

Hello,

Is there a way to open the "Quick Reference Windows" and have them float on top of other programs' windows?
I know you can do that with the Scratchpad window. (Well thought feature by the way!)
Thanks!

Re: Scriptwriting mode: add a New Tex which behaves as in scriptwriting mode

Thank you for your reply. I understand the CMD+N logic, but not in the case when I select the drop down PLUS menu on the bar, it even says "press and hold for more options". If I am in a "SCENE" and I click+hold+select "new text" on the PLUS menu I get a sort of scene (...

Scriptwriting mode: add a New Tex which behaves as in scriptwriting mode

Hello, I have chosen the US stage play and I am writing in scriptwriting mode. Here I can use the "+" button or "ENTER" to add a "New Scene" or a "New Text", If I add a New Text the new document behaves as if I were in scriptwriting format, so I have to use CM...

Re: Show Scripts Element Menu

Thank you, now it works, probably I had to remember the software that I was in scriptwriting mode. Yes, my bad CMD+SHIFT+Y, that 0s what I meant.

Show Scripts Element Menu

Hello, I am in scriptwriting mode , Stage Play (US), and I use cmd+shift to change the elements (character, dialogue, etc...) as I have always done in the previous versions of Scrivener, but I noticed that when I am in "Full Screen Composition Mode" the cmd+shift brings me the Style Menu. ...

Re: Custom data column in outliner

Thank you for your input. The program is quite vast, and there are plenty of features that I am no aware of, hence my investigation into the date field. A text field will do to store dates, maybe in the format year-month-day so that it can be ordered without problems.

Re: Custom data column in outliner

Thank you for your reply, but this way I have a text field, which will do of course, but I was wondering if there is a way to add a date field, since scrivener is for writers and is packed with options, I was wondering if there is "published on (date)" filed.
