Re: German translation bug is bugging me

Wonderful app - but German localisation is a shame. Keep discovering mistakes and inconsistencies... Sorry, don‘t mean to nitpick but being a language sensitive person (naturally) this does bother me.

Re: Ulysses III

Even though I don't use Scrivener at this time (while eagerly waiting for the iOS version) I keep coming back to this forum almost daily as it offers so much useful information about many topics related to writing. This is a great place. We should respect the proprietor of the house and, no, we shou...

Re: Ulysses III

The reason I switched from Scrivener to Ulysses is that it has an iOS app that syncs easily and reliably with the Mac app. The sync between Scrivener and various iOS apps never really seemed to work properly. Files were doubled or deleted etc.. I prefer a minimalist UI so Ulysses works well for me i...

Re: Scriv on iPad, Redux?

Notability has a customizable keyboard and it autosyncs and it creates rtf files that you can sync with Scrivener.

Re: Has anybody used Auteureist for iPad with Scrivener?

I also cannot recommend Auteureist. I bought the iPhone version some time ago and it was a catastrophe of bugs, crashes and confusing UI.

Printing out of the editor...

Hi everybody,

when I print straight out of the editor (cmd p) there is always a header in the upper right hand corner. Is there a way to get rid of it?

Thank you, and all the best to everybody,

Re: "Binder" deleted itself

Sorry. Can't reproduce this. I deleted the project and copied it's contents into a new project. No problems there.

"Binder" deleted itself

See image... This is how it happened (I think): I partially write on an iPad in the "Notebooks" app and sync it with Scrivener every few days. After syncing this morning, The content of the Binder was there, but "Binder" itself had disappeared... I quit Scrivener and started it u...

Update: Quitting Scrivener and opening it again corrected the position of the separators.

Separator slipped into the text

Funny thing happened just now while I was working. Couldn't get it to slip back into normal position. All I did was erasing the first line under the separator.

Turning off separators in Edit Scrivenings mode

Hi --

just checked the forum and the manual but could not find anything about this:
Is there a way to turn off the separators in the Edit Scrivenings mode of Scrivener 2? They look beautiful but for me they impede the "flow" of the assembled text.

Thanks,

R.

I just love it

2.0 made me desert my iPad and return to my MacBook. It's not just all this wonderful functionality, the elegant look of it etc.., it's that it gives me a home on this ghastly machine, the computer. Yes, I think my enthusiasm for Scrivener is that it feels so taylored to the way I think and work. Or...

Re: Scrivener 2.0 wonderful, but a little slow

Thanks for your effort.
By now I have gotten used to the lag and don't really mind it anymore.
Scrivener has been my professional home for three years now; I am not going to move out just because the front door screeches when I open it.

Best,

R.

I'll fiddle around with it a little more and see what happens.
