Re: What do I do while my MB is away for repairs?

If it were me, I'd use iOS Scrivener. But then, I already use iOS Scrivener pretty heavily. Katherine I tried it last year on an iPad - couldn't work without the mouse. And the filing system, and the Clippings function. Luckily, five minutes ago my brother heard of my plight and is sending me his n...

What do I do while my MB is away for repairs?

I've got to take my MB 2017 in for a week or two to get the keyboard/motherboard replaced again - the 3d time - I cant afford to shut down my work - and buying a another MacBook as a backup seems insane - Would it work if I bought a cheap Windows machine - download and use Scrivener for the week or ...

Re: Target for document in Composition Mode

As one example, Highland does it - I mean it's goofy but sometimes I need to break away from the even the fabulous Scrivener world which I think I have inhabited nearly from day one.

Re: Target for document in Composition Mode

Thank you so much. you're always one of my favorite Scriveners - I didn't know it was down there with the other stuff. At the risk of being rude, I must admit that that panel is one of my least used tools although it should be mostbecause I have to mouse over. It always disturbs the flow of my think...

Re: iPad mini advice needed

I love the iPad Mini precisely because it is small: It's about the same size as a "junior" size paper notebook, and only slightly heavier. I can tuck it under my arm, use it on an airplane tray table with room left over, hold it in my lap, etc. Besides portability, its small size reduces ...

Re: iPad mini advice needed

I have a Mini (not a new one), and absolutely love it for notetaking, interviews, and light organizational work. I prefer a bigger screen for writing, editing, and "large-scale" planning. For my uses, the iPad Pro would be too big. Katherine Thanks very much for your answer. One more ques...

Re: I am a Writer

I became a writer when I realized that I liked my writing and if I wanted to read more of it, I'd have to write it first.

Re: What happened to Circus Ponies?

I've just gone quickly through the cycle of available replacements for CPN and agree with ptram above there is none - it is an astounding circumstance, and what I've rediscovered just writing one short review is how much a writer's app CPN is/was - the whole notion of paper styles, which is always s...

Re: adding keyboard shortcut for None

But there is more than just one "none" in the menus - how does the system know which none you're referring to?
