Whether people were vociferous or not, I would contend that the disagreements did not arise out of ego-involvement with a software product but out of a fundamental difference on the premise on which the opinion was based. That was my reason for diagreement. It does not seem reasonable to conjure up ...

Hi, Faye,

I'm sorry but I haven't done anything like this with Scrivener. What I want to say, though, is that reading over what you have done has opened my eyes to using Scrivener for activities other than writing for (potential) publication. You have made me think, and for that I thank you.

I'm sorry but I cannot agree with you. The Windows version is very much a worthwhile purchase for me as it provides much greater functionality than a word processor. The Mac version might have extra features but that is of no interest to me as I do not own a Mac -- I base my judgment on the current ...

I haven't received an update from Amazon either. Not a major problem -- the book is useful as it is -- but I would be interested to see the updated version.

I'm quite late to this but I've been using Writer's Cafe, which includes Storylines, since version 1. Whilst the Storylines feature is good, and I will maintain a copy of Writer's Cafe 2 in case I ever need that functionality in future, I have moved all my writing over to Scrivener for the extra fle...
