Re: FEATURE REQUEST: for your consideration when scapple development starts again

OH... and a keyboard shortcut to bring it up and retire it back to tray... WIN+<somekey> or APPLE+<somekey> or maybe a function key or something.

thanks

FEATURE REQUEST: for your consideration when scapple development starts again

howdy, still pining for a few crucial features for the scapple of my dreams. again, my requests are for enabling use of scapple as a universal "scratch pad" for all purposes on the PC and MAC. srsly guys, this would be a killer selling point! for ONGOING note taking for programmers, comput...

Re: FEATURE REQUEST: start on windows boot, tabs, minimize to taskbar!

oh - and some ability for scapple to know if the file has been changed (like if it resides in dropbox folder and is being accessed in multiple places) and be able to keep the latest changes.

FEATURE REQUEST: start on windows boot, tabs, minimize to taskbar!

hey guys, i always end up using scapple as a kind of scratch pad while using my computer - not just for writing but everything! it is really great for just jotting down miscellaneous ideas and reminders about stuff that's going on in your day, hardware setting details for computer builds, software s...

Re: BUG: text looks different but readout telling me it's the same

hey amberv, yeah give it a try. if you used this before, i'm sure you'll fall right back into it. and yeah, having a large, finger usable keyboard will probably feel very luxurious compared to the palm. it's really configurable too so you can change the size of the keypad, can even change the font o...

Re: BUG: text looks different but readout telling me it's the same

oh and silverdragon,

if you're interested and want to give it a go, i can post some photos of handwritten notes that i made about the design philosophy of the keyboard. kinda helped me get my head around it.

Re: BUG: text looks different but readout telling me it's the same

hey silverdragon, amberv's right. it's exactly the same keyboard that was out for palm pilots... but back in the day, you had to peel off a plastic sticker showing that new keyboard arrangement and paste it onto the area of the palm pilot reserved for graffiti. it's called MESSAGEASE and it's totall...

editor zoom doesn't work on home computer, works on work computer

howdy, so i'm running win 10 on both and they're both the same version of scrivener (latest) but on the home computer, for some reason, the percentage zoom in on text (using the dropdown menu, the mouse wheel or ctrl -, ctrl + keys) doesn't work at all. but on the work computer, it works flawlessly....

BUG: text looks different but readout telling me it's the same

so i'm running into this issue where the text on-screen looks different - it's a little bit thinner than the rest of the text but when i look at the font and size settings, they read as exactly the same. there is a distinction to be made but there's no way for me to find out what that distinction is...

sync external folder errors out with .md files

was playing around with the .md files that i do have and was bringing them into scrivener with the sync to external folder function but there's a tiny hiccup. so in the sync dialog, i can tell scrivener to save as plain text files and even to save using the .md extension which is awesome for going b...

ah. gotcha. i agree.

but yeah, i am specifically thinking about dropbox folders since that would make the most sense in interoperability between platforms.

Re: rich text driven "code hiliting" for markdown in editor?

There is no parallel to this on iOS, because there is no such thing as an external folder on iOS! (There is no open file system, so there is no universal location for files/folders to live.) to say there is no **open** file system is different from saying that there is **no** file system. there are...

Re: rich text driven "code hiliting" for markdown in editor?

(EDIT: nevermind - i'll just rename all my markdown files .txt and keep them .txt ... no big deal) was playing around with the .md files that i do have and was bringing them into scrivener with the sync to external folder function but there's a tiny hiccup. so in the sync dialog, i can tell scrivene...
